Somberspawn is a blackened death metal band from Bogotá, Colombia, active since 2019 and operating as an independent act. They have released two full-length albums — Inumbrate in 2020 and Invocate in 2024 — along with the 2023 single Barquero de los muertos.

Sombras y Fuego are a death/thrash/black metal band from Puerto Montt, Chile, formed in 2017. They released their debut demo "Tiranía oculta" in 2020, a three-track recording that introduced their aggressive, multi-genre attack.

Somdark is a raw black metal band from Mérida, Venezuela, active since the late 1990s and a former member of the now-dissolved C.M.B. (Cantus Maleficorum Bestiae) Congregation, a collective of Venezuelan underground black metal acts. The band has released a large body of work including Guerreros del Foso, Vltracosmos (2022), Taknara (2022), and Kaos (2025), with themes of strength, nihilism, and heresy running throughout. Their recordings have appeared on Wolfmond Production.

Somnio are a death/doom metal band from La Serena, Chile, formed in 2011. Their lyrical themes center on ecological and social disaster, oppression, and religion, and they released early demo recordings in 2012 under the title "El cielo se ha vuelto negro."

Son in Curse are a death metal band from Puerto Montt, Chile, active since 2002 and released on Melipulli Records. Drawing on themes of philosophy and anti-Christianity, they issued their debut full-length "Trivnviratvm" in 2017, with a comprehensive compilation of earlier material released as "Virtus Deus Maledictus" in 2021.

Stoner/doom metal band from Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, founded in 2008 by guitarists Patrick Schafstein and Adriano, later joined by vocalist Nelson Macedo performing as King Lizzard. The band released the EP Snake Arms Woman in 2012, followed by the full-length Thrones in the Sky in 2016 on German label Kozmik Artifactz and Brazilian imprint Deathtime/Burning London. Their second album, Commanded by Cosmic Forces, was recorded at Black Hole Studio in Natal between December 2018 and April 2019 and pressed to vinyl by Kozmik Artifactz.

Melodic metalcore band from Petrópolis, Rio de Janeiro state, formed in 2015 with a lineup of vocalist Sidney Junior, guitarist Vinicius Crivellaro, bassist Fernando Thomaz Neves, and drummer Gabriel Guimarães. Their debut release Skirmish, a nine-track album produced by Gus Monsanto, appeared on May 21, 2015, recorded, mixed, and mastered by Celo Oliveira.

Blackened hardcore punk project from Piracicaba, São Paulo state, operated as a solo act by the musician credited only as Sinluz. The debut release Ímpeto Hediondo, issued December 19, 2024 through the Egregora Adversarial collective, comprises eight tracks of raw, horror-themed extreme music drawing explicit inspiration from 1970s and 1980s Italian and American slasher films including New York Ripper, Torso, and Maniac.

Black/heavy metal band from Porto Velho, Rondônia, formed in 1998 with a lineup including vocalist Camarão, guitarist Sérgio Watanabe, keyboardist Esther, bassist Anderson Estopa, and drummer Alberto. The band performed at the Madeira Rock Festival in Porto Velho in 2005 and released two full-lengths: Sortilégio in 2005 and O Exilado in 2009.
