Sotana is a grindcore/death metal trio from Mar del Plata, Argentina, formed as a family project by Flavio Cianciarulo (bass, known as the bassist of Los Fabulosos Cadillacs) alongside his sons Jay Cianciarulo (guitar and vocals) and Astor Cianciarulo (drums). The band recorded and released their debut album "Secta del Acantilado" through Icarus Music in 2018 in just two days, delivering twelve tracks of raw extreme metal inspired by the dramatic cliffsides near their home in Chapadmalal.
