Saagar was a black metal and ambient project from Concepción del Uruguay, Argentina, active from around 2011 until splitting up in 2016. The band released the demo Interitum Universalis in March 2013 through Depressive Illusions Records as a limited CD-R edition of 33 copies, and contributed the track "Woodwoman" to the Odens Ride Over Southernland — An Argentinean Tribute to Bathory compilation released by Misanthropic Spirit Records the same year.

The band's releases include a 2005 split with Demoniciduth, the full-lengths From Dust to Dust (2007) and From Abandonment to Salvation (2014), and the anniversary compilation Sabbatariam 20 Years in May 2021, which featured vocalists Walter 'Big Head' Jr. and Daniel 'Corpse' Rezende alongside guitarist and producer Marcão Werneck.

The band recorded and released the EP Magnificent Forest of the Rising Sun in 1995 via independent channels; it was reissued in 2021 as Magnificent Forest of the Luciferian Rites MMXXI through Nekrolust Records, a Rio de Janeiro-based extreme underground metal label. The reissue contains five tracks including 'The Ways of Infernal Kingdom,' 'Ad Perpetuitatem Occultum,' and 'The Slaves Shall Serve.'

Heavy metal and hard rock band from Videira, Santa Catarina, Brazil, founded in 2004 by guitarist and vocalist Elias Scopel Liebl alongside drummer Mario Oliva and bassist Wagner Maschio, with Guilherme Oliveira on lead vocals. The band released the debut EP Boemia in 2006, recorded at Passagem de Som Studio in Curitiba, followed by the album Burning Wheels in 2007. After an intense run of shows across southern Brazil and São Paulo, the band entered a hiatus in 2011 and briefly resumed activity in 2015–2016.

Two-piece black metal band from Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, formed in 2020 by Lucyferatus (guitars, vocals, bass) and Nuit Oscura (drums, vocals). The band released the self-titled two-track EP Sete Velas in May 2021, containing 'Imperial Satanás' and the title track 'Sete Velas.' The project operates independently with lyrical themes centred on Satanism and anti-Christianity in the Brazilian raw black metal underground.

The quintet — Guilherme Melo (vocals), André Guimarães and Luiz Fernando Matiello (guitars), Guilherme Mendes (bass), and Leonardo Michelazzo (drums) — released their debut full-length Prophecies of Plague in June 2020, drawing on themes of the Black Plague, religious abuse of power, and cosmic horror. Their second album IX followed in 2022, a nine-track record released independently on Bandcamp and streaming platforms.

The record marked a more mature phase for the band, which had roots going back to an earlier incarnation called Morbid active in the early 1990s.
