Hamen is a symphonic power metal band from Joinville, Santa Catarina, Brazil, formed in 2014, fronted by vocalist Monica Hamen alongside guitarist Cadu Puccini. The band gained international exposure through inclusion on the Terrorizer magazine Fear Candy Latin America compilation and the Imperative Music Volume XVI DVD. The band released their debut full-length album Ogre in June 2015, recorded at Kolera Studio in Rio de Janeiro, showcasing a combination of technical precision and brutal aggression. Hangar is a progressive power metal band from Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, originally formed in 1997 by drummer Aquiles Priester, who later became known for his work with Angra. The band released six studio albums, including Last Time (1999), Inside Your Soul (2001), and The Reason of Your Conviction (2007), building a dedicated following in the Brazilian metal scene. Keyboardist Fábio Laguna joined in 2002 and became a core compositional force, and the band reunited in 2025 after an extended hiatus.
