Habitante is a doom/death metal band from Temuco, La Araucanía, Chile, formed around frontman and guitarist Carlos Aravena, who also handles production duties independently. Their sound fuses the atmosphere of European doom metal with the aggression of 1990s American death metal, and their releases include the album "Perseverancia Resiliencia" (2020) and the follow-up "Condena Funebre" (2022).

Hadalunna is a five-piece melodic metal band from La Plata, Argentina, featuring vocalist Rose Heiderscheid, guitarists Maxi Obón and Rose Heiderscheid, keyboardist Maximiliano Pistara, bassist Emanuel Etcheverry, and drummer Iván Scarsella. The band debuted in March 2017 with the EP Rising with Dying Wings, a five-track release blending symphonic keyboards, melodic guitar work, and clean vocals across tracks such as Spiders Over Me and The Flight of the Crow.

Haeretic Winds is a black metal band from Teresina, Piauí, Brazil, active since around 2009. The band's themes center on anti-Christianity, Satanism, occultism, and war, operating as an independent underground outfit. Their releases include the EP Derrame o Sangue dos Puros and the recording Avante Tropas de Lúcifer.

Hagbard is an epic folk metal band from Juiz de Fora, Brazil, drawing on fantasy and mythological themes from multiple cultures. The band released their debut full-length Rise of the Sea King in November 2013 through the Russian label SoundAge Productions, recorded in Brazil and mixed and mastered in Sweden. Subsequent releases include the EP Tales of Frost and Flames (2015) and the album Vortex to an Iron Age (2016).

Hairetikos is a black metal band from Moreno, Buenos Aires, formed in 2024, comprising vocalist Nestor, guitarist Alex, bassist Juan, and drummer Guido. Their debut EP L'eremita, recorded and mastered by Eduardo Casella at Estudio En La Nada in Moreno during winter 2024, was released on December 15, 2024, through La Resistencia Distro, and features seven tracks including Transmigración Cósmica and La Consagracion del Temor.

Haitón del Guarataro is a one-man black/doom metal project from Buenos Aires created by Alexis Uribe in 2024, drawing exclusively on Latin American folklore — myths, legends, and spectral figures — as lyrical subject matter. Uribe self-handled all instrumentation, production, and artwork on the debut Fathomage Chants (August 2024), which explored Venezuelan legends, and the follow-up Pombero (May 2025), a five-track conceptual work centered on the Guaraní mythological creature of the same name.

Halahache is a stoner metal trio from Santiago, Chile who describe their sound as centered on fuzz, doom, and attitude. The band contributed a track to the 2021 compilation "Doomed & Stoned in Chile" and have released original material including their "Demo I" on Bandcamp.

Halfdream is an instrumental progressive post-metal project founded by guitarist Marcelo Murata in São Paulo, Brazil, around 2012–2013. The band blends heavy metal riffing and extended guitar work with atmospheric post-rock passages and piano, as showcased on their 2014 release Kaleidoscope. The lineup also includes guitarist Bruno Cabral, bassist Vitor Nishikiori, and drummer Caio Pavanelli.

Hall of Gods is a neoclassical heavy metal project founded by São Paulo multi-instrumentalist Rafael Agostino, also known for his work with Armored Dawn. The project released its debut album A Tribute to the Gods of Music in 2025 through Abigail Records, featuring heavy metal reinterpretations of works by composers including Beethoven, Bach, Mozart, Grieg, and Carlos Gomes. The album features guest vocalists Zak Stevens, Ralf Scheepers, Ronnie Romero, and Snowy Shaw, among others.
