Alienist is a technical death metal band from Buenos Aires formed in 2025, featuring guitarists Agustín Orzabal and Enzo Mauas alongside bassist Guido Benvenuti, vocalist Alex Labarba, and drummer Gerardo Herrera. Their debut EP "Introspectio, Sui Exitium", released in October 2025, is a six-track, 28-minute self-released work drawing comparisons to neoclassical tech-death acts for its fretless bass, dense twin-guitar harmonies, and Latin-titled compositions.

Zilla is a technical and melodic death metal band founded in Vale do Amanhecer, Distrito Federal, Brazil, tracing their roots to 2002 before settling into their current style. The band released the demo Dry Throat in 2005 and their debut full-length Pragmatic Evolution in 2010, drawing on progressive influences alongside themes of philosophy and human nature.
