Altú Págánach was a folk black metal band from Lavras, Minas Gerais, self-described as practitioners of "Pure Folk Tolkiean Black Metal," blending raw black metal with folk elements and lyrical themes drawn from J.R.R. Tolkien and old paganism. The project was led by the multi-instrumentalist known as Dungortheb, and their discography — including the 2018 EP "The Wizard" and a split "The Old Legacy" — was later compiled and reissued by Cold Art Industry.
