Amorth is a Brazilian bestial black metal duo formed on August 19, 2023, consisting of Necro Anticristo on vocals and drums and Lord Bloodshed on guitar. Amplexus Mortem is an occult black metal band from Guaíba, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, formed in 2019. Their music draws heavily on chaos gnosticism and left-hand path philosophy — particularly Qliphothic Kabbalistic symbolism — and they have been prolific, releasing numerous albums and EPs including "Qliphothic Paths of Sitra Achra" (2019), "The Eleven Seals of Azerate" (2021), and "Antinomian Paths of Death" (2021).

Amud is a Christian black metal (unblack metal) band from Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil, formed around 2019 and still active. With members Anderson Nogueira Shu, Samuca Nogue, and Rafinha Nogue, the band wields black metal aggression in service of explicitly Christian themes, countering Satanism with their lyrics — a tradition in Brazilian unblack metal. Their discography includes multiple demos such as "Deuses de Pedra Não Salvam!" (2012), "Fogo no Cão" (2014), and "Perdeu Capeta" (2017).
Amurians is an all-female heavy metal band from São Paulo, Brazil, formed in 2018. Their name and identity are rooted in the legend of the Icamiabas — an indigenous matriarchal warrior tribe of the Amazon region — and two of the members carry indigenous ancestry through their maternal grandmothers; the band channels this heritage into forceful, traditional heavy metal with a message of female empowerment in the Brazilian underground.
Amuro was a black metal band from Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, Brazil, active from 2013 until their split-up. The band explored symphonic black metal textures and performed live in the Santa Catarina underground circuit, sharing members with the local heavy metal act No One Spoke; their setlists included originals such as "Will To Death" and "Misanthropy" alongside covers of Norwegian black metal classics.
Anal Carnage is a death/grind band from Victoria, Chile, whose origins trace back to a grindcore project called Necrosis before the band adopted their current name. They released a self-titled demo in 2007 and followed it with the six-track record "Uncontainable Temptation to Kill" in 2009, establishing a brutal sonic identity rooted in the Chilean underground extreme metal scene.
Anama is a progressive and symphonic metal band from São Bernardo do Campo, in the greater São Paulo metropolitan area of Brazil, formed in 2023. Part of the broader AnamA project that blends symphonic prog metal with ethnic and orchestral influences, the band features Babi Bueno on vocals and keys alongside Caio Garibaldi on guitar, crafting layered cinematic metal with roots in the ABC Paulista underground scene.
