Thor was a pioneering heavy metal band from Buenos Aires, Argentina, active in the early-to-mid 1980s. The band featured vocalist Horacio Cornejo, guitarists Carlos "Tarkus" Albanesi and Marcelo Langeneker, bassist Mabel Diaz, and drummer Charlie Álvarez, making them the first Argentine metal band to include a female member. Their sole studio album "El Pacto" was released in 1985 and sold 5,000 copies; a CD reissue appeared in 2014 via Hurling Metal Records.

Black metal project from Brasília, Distrito Federal, operated by the musician known as Thormianak, who also serves as guitarist in the pagan black metal band Miasthenia. In addition to the original black metal material released in the late 1990s, Thormianak released solo experimental recordings on Bandcamp, including the instrumental collection lost tracks II and extreme-metal settings of three poems by Portuguese poet Fernando Pessoa.

The band also released a prior album titled I Am The Presence.

Their debut album Lost Mind was recorded at Oversonic Studios in 2004 and self-released on July 25 of that year, followed by the second full-length Pictures of Reality in September 2006, recorded at Creative Studios in São Paulo. After the band split, some members went on to form This Grace Found.
