Thor was a pioneering heavy metal band from Buenos Aires, Argentina, active in the early-to-mid 1980s. The band featured vocalist Horacio Cornejo, guitarists Carlos "Tarkus" Albanesi and Marcelo Langeneker, bassist Mabel Diaz, and drummer Charlie Álvarez, making them the first Argentine metal band to include a female member. Their sole studio album "El Pacto" was released in 1985 and sold 5,000 copies; a CD reissue appeared in 2014 via Hurling Metal Records.

Black metal project from Brasília, Distrito Federal, operated by the musician known as Thormianak, who also serves as guitarist in the pagan black metal band Miasthenia. In addition to the original black metal material released in the late 1990s, Thormianak released solo experimental recordings on Bandcamp, including the instrumental collection lost tracks II and extreme-metal settings of three poems by Portuguese poet Fernando Pessoa.

Their debut release was the demo W.A.R: Frontline Tormentor (1999), a seven-track recording, followed that same year by a split with Ethan titled LIVE in 13th Temple of Black Gods.

Their album Synchronized Abductions was recorded and mastered in 2019 at Funds House Studio in Curitiba and released on May 26, 2020, featuring tracks including "Vessels," "Scanning Souls," and "Black Sun Vortex." The band also released a prior album titled I Am The Presence.

Heavy/thrash metal band from São José dos Campos, São Paulo, active from 2001 to 2009, with a lineup of Adriano Bonfim (vocals), Lucas Godoy (guitars), Gabriel Godoy (bass), and Adriano Moreira (drums). Their debut album Lost Mind was recorded at Oversonic Studios in 2004 and self-released on July 25 of that year, followed by the second full-length Pictures of Reality in September 2006, recorded at Creative Studios in São Paulo. After the band split, some members went on to form This Grace Found.

Crossover thrash band from Vitória da Conquista, Bahia, formed in 2015 with a lineup of Filipe Wargrider (vocals/bass), Rodrigo Freire (guitar), and Oscar (drums). The band released a promo in 2015 and the EP Damaged Brain in 2018, drawing influences from Municipal Waste, Suicidal Tendencies, and Gama Bomb.

Blackened speed/thrash metal band formed in Rio de Janeiro in June 2010 by three musicians operating under aliases including Chakal (vocals), Madcrusher (guitar), Bode de Sade (guitar/vocals), and Surtür Impurus (drums). The band released Thrash Till Death in September 2015, followed by the full-lengths Não Gosto! (May 2020) and Bastardos da Noite (July 20, 2022), both on Portuguese label Helldprod Records.

Thrash metal band from Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, formed in 2017 by guitarist duo Lucas Souza and Gabriel Theofelo alongside bassist/vocalist Matheus Prusse and drummer John Kuntze. Their debut release, the three-track EP Liberty Denied, appeared on December 12, 2017, with Theofelo handling production, mixing, and mastering.

Throne of Evil is a black metal band that formed in Antofagasta, Chile in 2006 before relocating to Santiago. Signed to Schattenkult Produktionen, the band has released four full-lengths including Muerte por creencias (2013), Orator (2020), and La noche más oscura (2026), drawing on themes of paganism, ancestry, and anti-religious misanthropy.
