The Scum are an old school death metal band from Manizales, Colombia, originally formed in 2013 under the name Scum before rebranding in 2017. They released their debut full-length Ashen in 2018 on In Fastu Negas, followed by the album The Hunger in 2022, both rooted in classic death metal themes of horror and mortality.

One-woman post-black/doom metal project from Brazil, active since 2025, operating under the Anhedonia Records label. The project released its debut full-length Trilha Para A Inexistência on September 27, 2025.

Black metal one-man band from Rio de Janeiro, formed in 2011 and entirely the work of Igor Goularth, who handles all instruments and vocals. After an early English-language EP, the project shifted to Portuguese with Capítulo I: Ruínas (July 2021) and continued the conceptual series with Capítulo II: Oceano.

Funeral doom metal band from Curitiba, Paraná, formed in 2020 with a lineup of Wagner Müller (vocals, guitars, keyboards), Daniel Kröker (bass), and Paulo Kolb (drums). Their debut album The Ultimate Sickness was released September 1, 2020 on Eclipsys Lunarys Productions, recorded at Avantgarde Studio in Curitiba, and includes a cover of Shape of Despair's "Fallen".

Death/thrash metal band from Belo Horizonte formed in 2020 by Jairo "Tormentor" Guedz, who played guitar on Sepultura's Bestial Devastation (1985) and Morbid Visions (1986). The band released their debut album Antichrist Reborn in April 2022 on Alma Mater Records — mixed by Peter Tägtgren at The Abyss Studio and featuring guest appearances from João Gordo (Ratos de Porão) and Alex Camargo and Moyses Kolesne (Krisiun) — and followed it with A Mass to the Grotesque in May 2024, with cover art by Dan Seagrave.

The True Mierdum is a one-person raw black metal project from Ituzaingó, Buenos Aires, operated solely by the musician known as Mr. Fuck Khaos Occulta. The project released the full-length "Open the Gates, Carlos (El Portero del Diablo)" in July 2009 and "Under a Peronist Moon" in September 2013, blending harsh kvlt black metal aesthetics with sardonic Argentine cultural references to Peronism and football.

Thrash/groove metal band from Belo Horizonte formed in 2017, featuring Vladimir Korg (vocalist of Chakal and co-founder of The Mist) and Paulo Xisto, the bassist of Sepultura. The band released their self-titled debut album on September 17, 2017.

Speed metal band from Rio de Janeiro, active since 2013, drawing on Motörhead, Venom, Tank, and Bulldozer as primary influences. Their debut album (We Are) The Unholy Ghosts appeared in 2014 on Hell Music and Nightwing Records, followed by Second Dose of Blistering Rock in 2015 and Black Winged Horses in 2019.

Heavy/groove metal band from Tatuí, São Paulo, formed in 2013, comprising Rafael Oliveira and Neto Silver (vocals/guitars/bass), Lina (guitar), and Rodrigo Mariano (drums). After a four-track EP in 2015, the band released their debut full-length Rotten Society independently in 2017, which was nominated by the Chilean portal Headbangers Latinoamerica as one of the top 100 Latin American metal releases of that year.
