Nocturnal Winter operate in the most obscure tier of the northeast underground, playing raw corpse-painted black metal with no concession to modernization. The band released two full-lengths — Shaitan a Face da Revelação Iniciática in 2004 and Sadomarsonáculo in 2008 — and have maintained a near-invisible profile outside of dedicated Brazilian extreme metal circles ever since.

Noctívago is a solitary black metal project that drifts between crushing doom weight and spectral ambient drift, releasing a sequence of self-titled volumes — I through V — through the Terror Noturno label, each pressed in severely limited cassette runs. The music pulls influence from post-punk as much as orthodox black metal, weaving slow, suffocating riffs with passages that dissolve into murk and static.

Nofek are a death metal trio from Bertioga whose recorded activity dates to the mid-2000s, issuing the demos Os Sete Flagelos in 2004 and Golgota in 2006. The consistent lineup of Douglas Liberato on vocals and guitar, Márcio on bass, and Carlão on drums has persisted across the band's long underground existence.

A one-man project helmed by multi-instrumentalist Patrick Marçal, Noldor channels the melodic death metal tradition of the Gothenburg school through a home-studio lens darkened by Lovecraftian horror and philosophical despondency. Three full-lengths document the project's evolution: Condemned to Eternity (2017), Banned from Light (2020), and The Unknown (2022), the last of which weaves a four-part narrative drawing on Half-Life and H.P. Lovecraft.

Formed by Griffin, Ascheswolf, and Arthan Deadhymns, Nomades play a raw and ritualistic pagan black metal steeped in the mythologies and ancestral shadows of northeastern Brazil. From their limited first demo Eras de Sangue (2012) through to their 2023 full-length Paganus, the horde has maintained an atmosphere of archaic defiance and pagan darkness.

Nordeath deal in the unholy intersection of speed and black metal, drawing equal inspiration from Bathory, Kreator, and Cruel Force as from Brazilian forebears Sarcófago and Whipstriker. Their 2018 debut EP O Chamado do Abismo announced a band committed to old-school underground ugliness, and they have since been signed to Norway's Edged Circle Productions, with a full-length following.

Nordheim blend the symphonic sweep of European power metal with heavy, propulsive riffing and a lyrical fixation on battle and mythology. The band's two studio albums, ...And the Raw Metal Power (2002) and Enter the Wolf (2018), bracket a long hiatus and showcase the work of vocalist/guitarist Gustavo Harrass and guitarist Eduardo "Rainheart" Fernandez.

Norditual is a progressive black and viking metal band from Freyre, in the Córdoba province of Argentina, blending epic and experimental arrangements with world-music influences. The band released their debut album Éxodo in 2010, followed by the two-part Echoes from Mankind — Parts I and II in 2016, both recorded and mixed by Franco Mensa at The Viking House studio in Freyre.

Norep Aviv is a stoner/doom metal band from La Plata, Argentina, formed in 2016 and known for blending the genre's classic heaviness with outside influences and rhythmic variety. Their debut album Parawaian Drugs was recorded at Napal Studio in La Plata between December 2016 and April 2017, engineered and mixed by Fernando M. Bozzini.
