Metastasis is a death/thrash metal band from Quilpué, Valparaíso, Chile, formed in 2006 by Gabriel Quinteros and Eduardo Madariaga, whose name was suggested by a friend who had battled cancer as a reflection of the band's death-themed subject matter.
