Mayday is a progressive groove metal band from Santa Fe, Argentina, built around core members Octavio Sobrero and Joel Dergal (guitar), Lucas Chelini (drums), alongside vocalist Juan Suárez and bassist Juan Fiume. The band recorded their debut EP "Resiliente" at Junín Sessions in Santa Fe, mixing and mastering it with producers in Florida and New York, and released a follow-up EP "Neron" in 2024. Their self-described "Pure Grill Metal" blends heavy riffs with progressive structures and complex rhythmic arrangements.
