Meridion is a four-piece death metal band from Santiago, Chile, founded in 2017, whose music blends dark and technical death metal with themes drawn from Andean aboriginal culture, occultism, and colonial history. The band released their debut full-length Rise from the South in 2018 and followed it with the eight-track Caverns (2024) through Mexican underground label Iron, Blood and Death Corporation.
