The album draws on the technical and brutal strains of the São Paulo death metal tradition.

Active since 1988, their early output was released through the legendary Cogumelo Records, including the album Into the Ritual Chamber (1996) and Satanic Metal Kingdom, both of which helped define the raw, Satanic extremity of the South American black metal scene. Their prolific career spans more than eight full-length albums alongside splits and demo recordings.
