Dawn Back is a stoner metal band from Mogi das Cruzes, São Paulo, Brazil, formed around 2013–2014 by guitarists Alan Nisiyamamoto and Rafael Rocas alongside vocalist/bassist Luiz Gustavo and drummer Getúlio Bonelli. The band released a debut five-track EP titled “Back,” available on their Bandcamp page, blending fuzz-heavy riffs and groove-driven rhythms characteristic of the stoner metal style.

Dawn of Sickness (also known as D.O.S.) is a groove/death metal band from Bauru, São Paulo, Brazil, active since around 1999–2000. Dazet is a Buenos Aires black metal project formed in 2020, whose name is drawn from a character in the 19th-century French prose poem "Les Chants de Maldoror." The project released a self-titled EP and the Norwegian black metal tribute EP "Helvete: An Ode to Norwegian Black Metal" both in 2020, and contributed to a split with Lautréamont in 2021, with lyrical themes exploring philosophy, literature, and the human condition.

DCLXVI is a black/thrash metal band from Campina Grande, Paraíba, Brazil, formed in 2022. The name is the Roman numeral representation of 666, reflecting the band's Satanic and ritualistic lyrical themes. They are an independent, unsigned act operating within Brazil's underground extreme metal scene.

De Halve Maan is a solo black metal project from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, created by multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Igor Goularth in 2022. The project plays oldschool black metal with lyrical themes centered on the depletion of natural resources, anti-consumerism, starvation, and misery. Releases include the split "Fig. MMXXII" (2022) with Finnish band Haruspex Ritual and the two-track EP "Remnants of Human Action" (2023), both produced and recorded by Goularth himself.

De Profvndis Clamati is a funeral doom metal band from Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil, whose name is Latin for "Out of the depths I cry." The project blends dense orchestral arrangements and classical music influences with the slow, oppressive weight of funeral doom, drawing comparisons to Shape of Despair and Paradise Lost. De Ros is a progressive metal and shred project centered on guitarist Marcos De Ros from Caxias do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Originally formed as a power trio in 1991 with drummer Sandro Stecanela and bassist Fábio Alves, the group recorded the instrumental progressive metal albums "Ad Dei Gloriam" (1994) and "Universe" (1997), drawing on influences ranging from jazz-fusion to Indian classical music. Marcos De Ros is recognized by Rolling Stone Brasil as one of 70 Brazilian guitar masters and was the first Brazilian guitarist to release an instructional CD-ROM internationally.
