Old school death metal band from Recife, Pernambuco, formed in 2016 with a lineup of vocalist Nekrotavio, guitarist Guilherme Silva, bassist Jeff the Killer, and drummer Iago Pedro. The band performs exclusively in Portuguese and released their debut EP O Abominável Espetáculo in May 2017, with lyrics centred on serial killers and violent crime.
Hard and heavy metal band from São Paulo, formed in 2018 and signed to Classic Metal Records. The band released their debut album Prisioneiro do Rock 'n' Roll in 2021 and their second album Diamante in 2025, both sung in Portuguese, with the latter receiving a maximum rating from the Metal na Lata portal for its deliberate return to the sound of 1980s Brazilian hard rock.
Trozator is a death metal band from Pedro Juan Caballero, Paraguay, active since 2012. The band has released material including the EP "Antiguas costumbres sangrientas" (2017) and the EP "Misery Through Fragile Senses" (2020), along with the single "Mutilación" the same year. They remain one of the few metal acts operating out of the Amambay region of eastern Paraguay.
Melodic heavy metal band from Garanhuns, Pernambuco, formed in late 2012 by guitarist Diego de Carvalho and vocalist Jéssica Ouro Preto alongside bassist Dorgival Souza, guitarist Ronailton Santos, and drummer Ivanildo Marcolino. The band released the three-track EP Thousand Voices in 2015, recorded at Alpha Studio in Garanhuns, as their first official release.
Celtic folk metal band from Varginha, Minas Gerais, founded in 1995 under the name Pendragon before adopting their current name, which references the mythological Irish divine race. Their third album Tingaralatingadun (2001) established their signature mix of heavy metal and traditional Celtic instrumentation, followed by Trova di Danú (2004) on Paradoxx Music, Dawn of the New Sun (2015) after an eleven-year gap between releases, and In Nomine Éireann (2019), which consists almost entirely of traditional Irish songs arranged for metal instrumentation.
Speed metal power trio from Maringá, Paraná, featuring Barth on bass and vocals, Léo on guitar and vocals, and Maka on drums. The band recorded their Madness EP in 2018 at Estúdio Vox in Maringá, a five-track release drawing on Motörhead, Venom, and d-beat hardcore influences.
Death/thrash metal band from Rio de Janeiro, formed in 2014 by brothers Diogo Cabral (Dyd Bastard, vocals and guitar) and Gabriel Cabral (Bitch Hünter, drums). Their debut full-length Skulls, Horns & Lust appeared in 2017, followed by March of Death in 2020 on Crionics Records, with the band citing Venom, Celtic Frost, Slayer, and Sodom as primary reference points.
Tábano was a three-piece heavy band formed in 2012 in La Plata, Argentina, drawing on thrash and doom metal in equal measure. The band released the album Mata o Muere and a demo track, Atrapado (sin salida), before eventually dissolving.
Death metal band from Euclides da Cunha, Bahia, formed in 2021, with a lineup of Humberto Amorim (vocals), Athayde Neto (drums and guitars), Marcos Augusto (guitars), and Junior Moreira (bass). The band centers its lyrical themes on Mayan mythology and sacrificial rites, and released Trophy of Skulls on October 29, 2021, followed by the EP The Macabre God of Decadence in June 2022.
