Toxic Goat is a one-man black/thrash metal project from San Isidro, Argentina, founded by Varg Von Deviant in 2020 during the pandemic as a solo outlet for the style he felt was underrepresented in the Argentine underground. The project debuted with the EP "Hellish Thrash Metal" on July 27, 2020, and followed it with the first full-length "Crucifix Destroyer," home-recorded and released on September 4, 2021, drawing on the raw energy of Bathory, Venom, and early Slayer.

The band released the demo Violent Night in 2015 and appeared on the Illimani Metal Fest 2015 split release, placing themselves in the live circuit of the Bolivian metal scene. They operated as an independent act throughout their existence.
