Tersivel was founded in Buenos Aires in 2004 by Lian Gerbino, who later relocated to Malmö, Sweden, giving the band an Argentine-Swedish identity; the name itself comes from a word meaning 'gathering' coined in an unpublished novel by Gerbino. The band's three studio albums — For One Pagan Brotherhood (2011), Worship of the Gods (2017), and To the Orphic Void (2022) — chart a trajectory from folk-inflected symphonic metal to death/doom and post-metal, with lyrical themes rooted in paganism, heathenry, and philosophy. To the Orphic Void, featuring Gerbino on vocals and guitars alongside Franco Robert on keyboards and Danny Ebenholtz on drums, was praised by Angry Metal Guy as vital and focused doom metal.

One-man black metal project from São Paulo, formed in 1995 by the sole member Warwolf, who also performs in the Brazilian act Evil. Thallium released the demo Gèvaudan, the full-length A Howling from a Thousand Years (2002), and the album Armanenschaft (2008), the latter drawing on the esoteric writings of Guido von List and citing early Polish black metal acts such as Graveland, Infernum, and Veles as primary influences.
