Pestífera is an Argentine old-school death metal project led by Alejandro Sabransky, also known for his work in 1917 and Bokrug. The band released the EP "Crónica Macabra" in 2020 on Total Noise Records, featuring guest appearances from members of Pogrom, Pandemia, Inhumation, and Bloodfiend.

Pethallian is the working name adopted by the Tatuí-based heavy metal project that has also operated as Pettalom, with both identities sharing the same membership and Bandcamp page. Under this banner the group released the album The Absinthe of the Apocalypse in 2012 and Ancient Bloody Europe in 2013, delivering a dark and melodic brand of traditional metal.

Petiot deals in filthy, no-frills goregrind with clear debts to Regurgitate, Carcass, and Flesh Grinder, building a prolific catalogue of releases including the full-length Xipophages and the collaborative split The Art of Surgery with Lipoma (2023). A further split, Morgue Escape, was released alongside Putrefacta, cementing the band's standing in the underground goregrind circuit.

Formed in the mid-1990s under the name Angels of Disease before settling into Pettalom, this long-running gothic and heavy metal act from the interior of São Paulo state issued their debut full-length The Wine of the Night in 2000 and returned decades later with Sanctify My Fog in 2018. Their sound blends moody gothic atmospherics with traditional heavy metal structures, drawing on a lineage that stretches back to early Paradise Lost and Type O Negative.

Pezadilla is a death metal and grindcore band from Medellín, Colombia, active since 2011. The band recorded a live session album in 2012 and appeared on the split "Purulenta simbiosis" in 2022, with an additional full-length "Medellin Morgue" noted in their discography. Phrenesy play a no-frills thrash metal rooted in the aggressive German and American traditions — think Kreator's intensity crossed with Anthrax's groove — with flashes of death metal adding extra weight to their attack. Vocalist Wendel Aires fronts the Brasília quintet, whose debut album "The Power Comes from the Beer" gave way to the harder-edged "Fears Apocalypse" in 2022, a record whose title was changed from "Beer Apocalypse" during recording as a response to the pandemic's toll on Brazil.

Phronexis is a thrash metal band from La Paz, Bolivia, originally founded in 2017 as a one-man project by Alvin Phronexis before evolving into a full band. The name is a stylized take on the ancient Greek concept of phronesis — a form of practical wisdom or mindfulness — which informs the band's introspective lyrical direction alongside themes of disease, horror, and death. Signed to The Foul Swamp Productions, they have released two full-lengths, Pestiferous (2020) and Opulence of Metal (2024), establishing themselves as a consistent force in Bolivia's thrash underground.
