Formed in Santos with a founding lineup of Marcus Vinicius on vocals, Fausto Pietro on drums, and Vinicius Guedes on guitar, Metallstein draw on old-school death metal, speed/thrash, and grindcore for a raw and uncompromising sound. The band released their self-titled debut single containing six tracks in early 2023 and have since appeared on the 'Workingclass In Roll – Brazilian Compilation' with the track 'Sonho Súbito'.
Originally formed as Metalmad in 2012 in Mogi Guaçú, the duo of Alexandre Quadros on vocals and Alex Roque on guitar and bass relaunched as MetalMad DC with a heavier, more aggressive identity. Metalriff is a Santiago thrash metal band founded in 2017 by guitarist and vocalist Leonel Contreras, who built the project around politically charged songwriting and an increasingly refined technical approach. Metastasis is a death/thrash metal band from Quilpué, Valparaíso, Chile, formed in 2006 by Gabriel Quinteros and Eduardo Madariaga, whose name was suggested by a friend who had battled cancer as a reflection of the band's death-themed subject matter.
