Destitution was a brutal death metal and grindcore band from Bauru, São Paulo, Brazil, catalogued on Encyclopaedia Metallum with gore-themed lyrical content. The band has since split up and is counted among the underground extreme metal acts that emerged from the interior of São Paulo state.

Destripated was a death metal band from Peñalolén, Santiago, Chile, whose lineup comprised vocalist Dismember, guitarist NKVD, bassist Speedmax, and drummer Sulfur Radiator. They released a two-track "Demo 2022" in March 2023, recorded at DOUC UC studio, followed by the EP "Crawling Across The Entrails" in April 2024. The band drew on both old-school and modern death metal influences before splitting up.

Deus Carne is a death and sludge metal band from Cúcuta, Norte de Santander, Colombia, founded in 2018 after an earlier incarnation as a grindcore and powerviolence project. The band released their debut full-length Conceptos del odio in 2019 and their second album Cúcuta in 2025, the latter a conceptual work addressing the social degradation of their home city. They remain an independent act and operate entirely out of Cúcuta.

Deuszebul is a grindcore, crust punk, and raw black metal band from Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil, active since 2014. The band has released a substantial catalog on Bandcamp including the albums "Mantra Invertido" (2014), "Abandono" (2017), and "Ao medonho eu entrego a degeneração de sua imagem" (2020), and contributed to the 2020 compilation "A Brazilian Tribute to Nasum: Mieszko Lives."

Devakhan is an active melodic black and death metal band from Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil, listed on Encyclopaedia Metallum as an independent act. The band released a demo in 2010 featuring tracks such as "In the Name of Justice" and "Slaughter," placing them within the northeastern Brazilian extreme metal underground.

Devast is a brutal/technical death metal band from Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais, Brazil, formed in 2014. The band self-released the two-track demo "Radical Excruciation Concept" in 2014 before signing to Gore House Productions and releasing "Into Decimated Reality" in 2015. Their sound draws comparisons to Origin, Dying Fetus, and Internal Suffering, built around an apocalyptic thematic concept.

Devastación is one of Argentina's longest-running death/thrash metal acts, tracing their origins to Munro, Buenos Aires Province, in 1987, and counting an early support slot for Sepultura on that band's first Argentine tour among their career highlights. Their studio output spans more than three decades, from the 1997 album Decadencia through ...Qué Lo Parió! (1999) and Resistiendo Al Engaño (2007) to Del Martín Fierro (2020), released on Disembodied Records. The current lineup of Walter Ortiz, Nicolas Oliva, Daniel Cafferata, and Horacio "Bocha" Herrera has kept the band active into the present day.
