Exocet is a heavy metal band from Buenos Aires, formed in 1991 and named after the Exocet missile used during the Falkland Islands conflict, a reference that underscores their politically engaged lyrical stance. The band built a discography across the 1990s and 2000s that includes Mercado del Dolor (1995), La Cura de la Demencia (2000), and Luchar Hasta Morir (2002), before taking a hiatus from 2010 to 2017. Their current lineup consists of vocalist Diego Abrego, bassist Sebastian Mendoza, guitarist Paulo Avila, and drummer Gaston Gallo, and they have been regular participants in the Festival Nunca Más.
