Crematory was a black/death metal band from São Paulo, Brazil, active in the early 1990s. The independent band explored Satanic themes and released rehearsal material before splitting up.
Crente is an extreme metal band from João Pessoa, Paraíba, Brazil, formed around 2022–2023 by members including Juan Apolinario (ex-Insecticida) and Marciel Argentina (Tiranicídio). Crime is a duo from Santiago, Chile, whose sound draws equally from classic rock 'n' roll acts like Rose Tattoo and Motörhead and '80s punk. The band released their debut EP "First Crime" through German underground label Dying Victims Productions in 2018, followed by the "Wrong Woman Demo LP" in 2024.
Santiago's Criminal have been one of South America's most enduring and internationally respected extreme metal acts since forming in 1991, blending thrash metal's riff-driven aggression with death metal's brutality into a sound that earned them a major label deal with BMG and MTV Latino airplay during the mid-1990s. Frustrated with the South American music industry, the band relocated to Europe in 2001 and reconstituted as a Chilean-British outfit, continuing to release well-regarded albums including Minion (2005), which Terrorizer listed among the year's ten best.
