Montuln is a melodic black metal band from Concepción, Chile whose music draws on Mapuche imagery and indigenous themes from southern Chile. The band debuted with Espiritu Ancestral (2012), a seven-track release featuring song titles in Mapudungún, and followed it eight years later with Arquetipo (2020), released on CD through Australis Records.

Moonforest is a black metal band from Frutillar in Chile's Los Lagos region, formed in 2018. The project's thematic focus centers on pantheism and the ancient traditions of the Chilean south, drawing from the natural and cultural landscape of the lake district of Patagonia.

Moonlight Scream began in 2012 playing death/black metal with themes of love and sorrow before pivoting toward an atmospheric, largely instrumental post-black metal sound in their later years. After a hiatus, the project resurfaced and eventually evolved into new incarnations — Ócio and then Passional — reflecting a continuous drift away from aggression and toward texture and mood.

Moonmath is a gothic/doom metal band from the interior of Rio Grande do Sul whose sound is heavy, melancholic, and psychologically dense, drawing on nihilism and introspection as core lyrical pillars. They have self-released two six-track albums — The Whisper's Hand (2017) and Isolated (released across 2018–2021) — both recorded locally and independently.

Morbid Abyss is a one-person depressive black metal project helmed by Lvxifervs XIII, who handles all instruments, vocals, and lyrics. The debut release Falling Into the Abyss (2020) laid out the project's obsessions — melancholy, misanthropy, and themes of despair — across four tracks of raw, desolate black metal.

Morbid Butcher were a death/black metal band from Espírito Santo whose roots trace back to the late 1980s underground tape-trading circuit, releasing demos such as Randiness of God (1988) and The Dark Plague (1994) before returning with Morbid Butcher Return (1998) and Fly for Darkness (1999). Their live album Muggefug (2006) served as a document of the band's raw, primitive approach before they eventually dissolved.

Morbid Desecration deal in war metal — raw, punishing black/death metal built around themes of war, apocalypse, and annihilation, in the tradition of Brazilian bestial metal. They have been releasing material since 2016 on the underground circuit, operating with the ferocity and no-frills production that defines the genre.

Morbid Devourment are a death/thrash trio from Brasília who consciously root their sound in the primitive filth of early-80s metal, citing Venom, Hellhammer, and Bulldozer as touchstones. Their 2025 debut EP Deathstrike Rebellion packs nine songs into eighteen minutes of raw, occult-themed extremity, following earlier singles that established the band's violent aesthetic.

Morbid Holocaust is a black metal band from Valparaíso, Chile, operating primarily as a one-man project under the name Holocausto. The band released their debut album Atmospheric Armageddon in 2017, recorded at Calaka Records in Valparaíso, and the full-length Conexiones in 2023, the latter tracked between 2021 and 2023 at IIgniter Studios in Limache; they also contributed to the five-band split En el Caos de la Oscuridad alongside Morgue, Kalkü, Beelzebuth, and Ausencia in 2023.
