Lascados are a thrash metal and crossover hardcore band from Anápolis, Goiás, Brazil, who have been active since the early 2010s. The band has released several full-lengths through their Bandcamp page, including Humanos Pertubados Questionáveis, Cotidiano Duro de um Trabalhador, and Chinese Lasquera. Expanding from a power trio to a four-piece in 2025, they remain one of the few metal acts operating out of Anápolis.

Last Conscious are a death/thrash metal band from Santa Luzia, Minas Gerais, Brazil. The band has released recordings including Psychological Torture, Damn Thoughts, and Political Loathing, drawing on the aggressive traditions of Brazilian extreme metal. Their lyrical content spans psychological and political themes.

Last Man's Breath is a melodic post-black metal band from Bogotá, Colombia, formed in 2018. The band released a self-titled EP in 2020 and appeared on the split "Agnosia" in 2021, exploring themes of existentialism, fear, isolation, and the human condition.

Last Sigh were a melodic death metal and metalcore band from Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil, with roots going back to 2005. The band released a demo titled Your Worst Fears before recording their debut full-length Beneath of the Flesh, Rotten, which was mixed and mastered by Alexander Dietz of Heaven Shall Burn at Chemical Burn Studio in Germany. During their active years they shared stages with international acts including As I Lay Dying, Killswitch Engage, and August Burns Red.

Lastima were a black metal and grindcore band from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The band appeared on the limited compilation Satã Apareça II (Metal Reunion, 2016), a release pressed to 50 copies, with themes exploring apocalypse, anti-religion, and the self-destruction of humanity. They have since split up.

Latifundio was a heavy metal band from Concordia, Entre Ríos, built around brothers Alejandro Ferrando (vocals) and Pablo Ferrando (drums), joined by guitarist Matías "Bochi" Benítez. The band released two independent albums — "Herejías" (2004) and "Piel de Metal" (2017) — with lyrics addressing social, religious, and political themes.

Lazaro is a thrash metal band from Rafael Castillo, Buenos Aires, founded by guitarist Jorge Moreno following his departure from the long-running Argentine thrash act Serpentor. The band carries on the tradition of socially and politically charged thrash metal from the Greater Buenos Aires underground scene.

Le Chant Noir is an avant-garde black metal project from Rio de Janeiro, formed in 2016, built around vocalist Lord Kaiaphas (ex-Ancient, Thokkian Vortex), guitarist Mantus (Marcelo Vasco of The Troops of Doom and Patria), and drummer Malphas (Mysteriis). The trio released their debut album Ars Arcanvm Vodvm in 2017, weaving together black metal with progressive and classical influences alongside occult and voodoo lyrical themes. Their second full-length, La Société Satanique des Poètes Morts, followed in 2021 through Personal Records and drew international attention from outlets including Decibel Magazine.
