Khadabra is a psychedelic doom metal quartet from Buenos Aires, Argentina, formed in 2013, comprising Verónica on vocals, Gastón on guitar, Facundo on drums, and Miguel on bass. The band documented their early live sound on Ritual Secreto (Vivo), a full live recording from the Casa Rodante venue in Almagro captured in September 2013, followed by a self-titled EP in 2015 and a second live album drawn from a March 2018 Club V performance.
Khallice is a progressive metal band from Brasília, Brazil, founded in 1994 by guitarist Marcelo Barbosa, who later joined Angra and Almah. The band released their debut album The Journey in 2003 via Hellion Records, followed by a worldwide reissue through Magna Carta Records in 2007 and the EP Inside Your Head in 2008. In early 2008 they won a contest to open for Dream Theater at Citibank Hall in Rio de Janeiro, one of the most visible showcases for a Brazilian progressive metal act at the time.
Khannas is a southern/groove metal band from San Rafael, Mendoza, Argentina, whose debut release was the EP Lengua de Diablo, issued on January 31, 2016. The four-track EP — containing "Bordeando abismos," "Resiste el olvido," "Memorias latentes," and "Lengua de diablo" — was recorded, mixed, and mastered at Aire Records by Facundo Lucero, with all compositions written by Fernando Ferre.
Khaotic is a one-person black metal project from São Paulo, Brazil, created in 2012 by D. Profaner, who handles all instruments and vocals. The project's output is marked by dense atmospheres and raw, misanthropic black metal, with themes centred on human weakness, anti-Christianity, and death. The band released the demo Antichrist Propaganda in 2012, followed by the EP The Beauty of Death and the full-length debut Tenebrae (2013).
Khazad Dûm is a black/death metal duo from Uberlândia, Minas Gerais, Brazil, founded around 2014–2015 by Noatún (guitars, vocals) and Gothmog (bass), drawing their name and lyrical themes from Tolkien's Middle-earth mythology. The band released the EP Garmadh in 2017 before issuing their debut full-length Khásma (BloodRock Records, 2019), which blends old-school extreme metal aggression with NWOBHM and doom influences, acoustic passages, and piano. A remastered edition of Khásma was released through Masked Dead Records in 2023.
Khronic Infection is a Brazilian death metal band formed in 2018, active under the Bandcamp name Chronic Infection. The band released their debut material in 2018 and continued developing a blunt, aggressive death metal sound, culminating in the 2026 full-length Worldwide Metastasis, an eight-track record whose titles — including "Womb of Rot," "Putrefaction of Humanity," and "Priests of Hate" — reflect the band's uncompromising extremity.
Khrophus is a death metal band from São José, Santa Catarina, Brazil, with roots stretching back to 1993. The current lineup features Leonardo Chagas (vocals, bass), Adriano Ribeiro (guitar), and Carlos Fernandes (drums), and the band has built a steady discography including Presages (2009) and Eyes of Madness (2013), the latter a ten-track album showcasing their straightforward, groove-driven approach to old-school death metal.
Kiko Loureiro is a São Paulo-born guitarist best known as a founding member of Angra and as Megadeth's lead guitarist from 2015 to 2023, who has maintained a prolific solo career since his instrumental debut No Gravity (2004). His solo output spans melodic progressive metal and jazz-inflected shred across albums including Universo Inverso, Fullblast, and Sounds of Innocence (2012). His fifth solo album, Theory of Mind (October 2024), explores themes of empathy and human connection through ten tracks of melodic progressive metal.
Kiko Shred is a heavy and power metal guitarist and bandleader from Americana, São Paulo state, Brazil, whose neoclassical 1980s-influenced style has drawn comparisons to the golden era of guitar-driven metal. Active since the mid-2010s, the project has released four studio albums including Riding the Storm (2018), Royal Art (2019), and Rebellion (2021), the last of which was picked up for worldwide distribution by Germany's Pure Steel Records. Kiko Shred has shared stages and sessions with singers including Tim "Ripper" Owens, Michael Vescera, and Leather Leone.
