Kaotk is a technical death metal band from Recife, Pernambuco, formed in 2017 by Marcio Pereira, Willams Reis, Stenio Lima, Michel Santos, and Yarkko Sena. The band debuted with the EP Nascido em meio ao caos, recorded at J.A. Studio in Recife and released in June 2017, showcasing tightly constructed riffs, virtuoso guitar solos, and guttural vocals exploring themes of the human psyche.

Karadima is a grindcore/death metal band from the Valparaíso region of Chile, whose name references Fernando Karadima, the Chilean Catholic priest found guilty by the Vatican in 2011 of sexually abusing minors — a deliberate act of social provocation consistent with grindcore's tradition of confrontational naming. The band released their debut full-length Desde hoy seré tu dios in 2018, followed by the nano-EP Torcido and the album Mansión Guarén, both in 2020, all produced through Calaka Records.
