Dark Paramount is a long-running black and doom metal band from Mirassol and later São José do Rio Preto, São Paulo state, Brazil, founded in 1993 and self-described as playing "Perverse Necro Sadistic Black Doom Metal." The band built an extensive underground catalog through the 1990s and 2000s including demos such as "Yarva Archaeus Daemonicus" (1996) and "Black Phallus" (1997) and full-lengths "When Thy Kingdom Rise" (2000) and "...Reverence" (2002), before returning with the album "Factor Obscurus" via Vacula Productions in 2017.

Dark Phoenix is a video game music (VGM) heavy metal band from Brazil that specializes in metal and progressive rock arrangements of classic video game soundtracks, drawing from series such as Mega Man, Castlevania, Street Fighter, and Metal Slug. Dark Rituals is a blackened death metal band from Cusco, Peru, formed in 2017 out of the ashes of the group Iron Child, which had operated in the same city since 2011. Dark Season was a symphonic metal band from Teresina, Piauí, Brazil, one of the few acts representing the genre in the country's northeast. Dark Seducer is a blackened thrash metal band from Padre Hurtado, in the Santiago Metropolitan Region, signed to Sick Rites Records. Their debut EP 'Divinidad Mortal', released on February 11, 2023, was produced and mixed by Luis Zuñiga at Sala Soul Music in Peñaflor, with drums tracked at Pajarera Estudio in Isla de Maipo.
