Dark Isolation is a one-person ambient black metal project from the São Paulo state city of Valinhos, Brazil, formed in 2009. The project blends oppressive black metal with dark ambient textures around themes of suffering, sorrow, and death. Releases include the albums "Nebel Leichenhalle" and "The Fragrance from Decomposed Flowers," as well as the 2024 EP "Remnants of Distress."
