Dromo is a Buenos Aires trio formed in 2023 by Fernando Valdez (vocals), Lisandro Contreras (guitars/bass), and Javier Ruíz (drums), playing heavy doom-inflected metal. The band released their self-titled EP on February 1, 2025, a three-track effort recorded at Basement Estudios and LOC Estudio and mixed and mastered by Contreras himself.

Drowned is a death/thrash metal band from Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil, long associated with the legendary Cogumelo Records label. Druidess is a gothic doom metal band from São Paulo, Brazil, formed in 2014 by Anderson Rods (bass and vocals) and Gabriel (guitars), later joined by drummer Eduardo. Their self-produced debut album Decay (2014) blends down-tuned riffs with clean, atmospheric passages and gothic vocals.

Dräkul is a black metal band from São Paulo, Brazil, formed in 2024. The band released the album Mondgesänge in October 2024 and followed it with Return of Wallachian Times in June 2025 via Onlyhate Propaganda, a release featuring themes of war, vampirism, and death.

Dumbieja is a heavy/thrash metal band from Mar del Plata, Argentina, whose lineup consists of Juan Ibañez (vocals and guitars), Martin Ageitos (guitars), Nicolás Rubiales (drums), and Leo Toba (bass). The band recorded and produced their debut album "Imágenes del Triste Ayer" entirely at a home studio between March and August 2020 during the COVID-19 quarantine, releasing it on December 18, 2020. The seven-track album is described as a pseudo-conceptual work exploring personal experiences, blending old-school thrash sensibilities with heavy metal groove.

Dumblegore is a doom and stoner metal band from Vitória da Conquista, Bahia, Brazil, formed in 2017 as a side project of Black Mantra members Dimi Garcez and his brother Bruno Garcez. The band draws on Electric Wizard, Sleep, and Acid Witch for their psychedelic, sludge-heavy sound, and have released albums including Misanthropic Ritual (2017) and Lysergic Depression (2021).

Dunkell Reiter is a thrash metal band from Contagem, Minas Gerais, Brazil, formed in 1997, whose name is a play on the German for "dark rider." The band plays old-school, aggressive thrash in the tradition of Brazilian forebears like Chakal and Sepultura, and have released a series of recordings including their debut full-length Unholy Grave (2014) and the subsequent albums Slaves of Terror (2019) and Endless Agony (2022).

Dwimor is a folk/black metal project from Lima, Buenos Aires province, Argentina, built around sole member Alejandro Nahuel Sabransky (also known as Nawel), who is also the driving force behind the Argentine extreme metal band 1917. The project released two albums in 2017: "When Winter Cries...", a 13-track record of pagan black metal, and "Tales from Nowhere", issued independently in June 2017 and later made available on CD. In 2022 Sabransky announced work on a third Dwimor album and released the advance track "In Serpent-Tongues" on YouTube.
