Cancerbero is a death metal band from Concepción, Chile originally formed in 1987, releasing two early demos — Guardian of Hell (1988) and Perpetual Agony (1991) — before disbanding in 1994 and reforming in 2001. The band delivers old-school death metal rooted in the raw, thrash-inflected aggression of the late 1980s, and has released three full-lengths: At the Portal of Evoked Blasphemies (2012), Reconquering the Throne of Death (2019), and Sempiternal Decay (2025).
