Prion are a brutal death metal band from Buenos Aires who have been delivering technically precise extremity since the late 1990s, drawing comparisons to Hate Eternal, Immolation, and Morbid Angel. The band — featuring guitarist/vocalist Gregorio Kochian, bassist Walter Barrionuevo, and drummer Flavio Coscarella — released their full-length debut Impressions in 2008 through Comatose Music, followed by Uncertain Process in 2015 and Aberrant Calamity in 2019.

Psicosis is a thrash and groove metal band from Managua, Nicaragua, formed in 2008 with the stated goal of reviving the Nicaraguan thrash scene. The band released their debut full-length Toska in January 2018, an eleven-track record blending classic thrash aggression with groove-oriented riffing. They remain active and independent, representing one of the more enduring metal acts in the Nicaraguan capital.

Psychoneurosis was a death metal band from Rio de Janeiro active in the mid-1990s, whose material was recorded and mixed at Uptown Studio in Rio de Janeiro in May and June of 1994. Their four contributions to the 1995 three-way split "Death or Glory Vol. 1" — "The Crypt," "Shadows," "Neurotic Curse," and "Mastering a Nightmare" — alongside São Paulo's Abscess and Extorsion represent their primary documented output.

Pugnari is a death metal project from Cabo de Santo Agostinho, Pernambuco, founded during the pandemic by Williams Ângelo (guitars and vocals) and Rafael Batista (drums). The band released the single "Rotten Devotion" in September 2023, followed by "Call Cthulhu" in 2024.

Punishment was a thrash/death metal band from Paraguaçu, Minas Gerais, formed in the late 1990s by brothers Elderson and Élson Prado alongside vocalist Camaroon. Purulence was an all-female death metal and grindcore quartet from Botucatu, São Paulo, formed in 1992 by Alessandra (vocals), Simone (guitar), Cassia (vocals and drums), and Ludmilla (bass). The band released the split "Going the Putrid Reality" in 1995 alongside New York Against the Belzebu, and are documented as the first all-female grindcore band in Latin America.

Pustulent is a one-man death metal project from Sorocaba run by Leandro, who also performs in the band Cadaveric Mutation. The debut release "Purulent Flesh Infection," a five-track EP issued in 2024 on Iron Fortress Records, opens with a sample from Lucio Fulci's 1981 film House by the Cemetery and draws comparisons to Carcass for its gore-themed riffing; the same year saw a second release, "Septic Liquid Excretion," and an appearance on the split "Splitmas Gorefest."
