Yajtay is a solo black metal project from Salta, Argentina created by the musician Wayrapaq, blending traditional black metal with Andean folk instruments including quenas, zampoñas, and sikus. The project released the demo "Wayrapi Waqay" in 2023, followed by the EP "Ayniy Kawsaypa" in February 2024. Lyrics are written in Quechua and the themes center on nature, paganism, and the landscapes of Salta's valleys and mountains.

Ydris Mortem is a heavy metal band from Valinhos, São Paulo, active since 2000 and operating under the pseudonyms Lutus, Lady Mortis, Nosferdark, RavenLord, and Somnus Cadaversus. The band released its album "Funereal Hymns of Hopeless Eve in A Tenebrae Land Where There Will Not Be Survivors Even In Sacred Places" in June 2000, establishing a doom-tinged and gothic heavy metal aesthetic that has carried through their long career.

Yellow Fever is a traditional heavy metal band from the coastal region of Paraná, Brazil, that grew out of an earlier project called Demon's Crest, which operated from 2014 to 2017 before the name change. Ynis Vitrin was a progressive metal band from Caxias do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul, whose name references the Arthurian legend of Merlin's glass castle. The band took years to complete their debut recording, finally releasing the demo-CD A Dark Land in 2005 with members including Benhur Vieira Lima on bass and Jocemar Maciel on guitar, drawing influences from Helloween, Stratovarius, and Iron Maiden.

Ynys Wydryn is a symphonic death metal band from Salvador, Bahia, built around multi-instrumentalist Dan Loureiro, a singer and guitarist born in 1983 who has also played in Carnified and other Brazilian acts. The band released their debut album Malevolent Creation through Eternal Hatred Records, recorded at Revolusom Studio in Salvador, marking one of the few symphonic death metal releases to emerge from the northeastern Brazilian underground.

Zalaam is a black metal duo from Lages, Santa Catarina, formed by Imperius Nockturno and Alysson Drakkar, two musicians who channeled the icy atmosphere of the Planalto Serrano highlands into a raw, primitive sound inspired by Venom, Bathory, Darkthrone, and Mayhem. Their EP Carnales, recorded in Lages in 2019, established the project as a fixture of the underground Brazilian black metal scene.

Zander Noriega is a solo melodic death metal and djent project based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, known for combining extreme metal with cinematic and progressive elements. The project gained international visibility through the soundtrack to the space shooter video game Steredenn (2015) and its expanded edition Steredenn: Binary Stars (2018). Subsequent releases include the albums "Escape Mechanics Unlocked" (February 2022) and "Demonic Den Operator 37" (October 2022).
