Founded by Gustavo Camargo and Flávio Diniz, Mortal Ways weaves science fiction and extraterrestrial mythology into death metal rooted in the traditions of Morbid Angel, Hypocrisy, and Deicide. Their 2020 self-titled debut and the 2021 EP "Enslavement Pandemic" — a four-track concept piece drawing from biology and astronomy — showcase a band committed to thematic storytelling within a crushing sonic framework.

Mortal Whisper is a heavy metal band from Santiago, Chile, formed in 2016 by vocalist/lead guitarist José Tapia alongside rhythm guitarist Cristóbal Moreno, bassist Matías Rodríguez, and drummer Francisco Cerda. Their 2016 self-titled EP, recorded and mixed by Cristian Lion at Lion's Roar Studio in Peñaflor, showcases a driving sound rooted in traditional heavy and speed metal.

MortalDread emerged from the same orbit as the earlier Goiás underground project Selbstmord, carrying on a tradition of aggressive, uncompromising thrash metal from the center-west of the country. The band released material independently before splitting up, leaving behind a document of the city's underground metal activity.

Operating out of Rondônia's small but tight-knit metal community, Morte Lenta plays raw, no-frills thrash with roots in Destruction, Slayer, and early Sepultura. The band released a demo in 2016 and has continued building a catalog rooted in the stripped-down, aggressive side of the genre.

A northeastern duo working in atmospheric and post-black metal, Morte Rubra released the debut cassette "Fadário Dizimado" in May 2018 as a limited edition of 66 copies, followed by the full-length "Estigmas do Infortúnio" in 2021. Their sound blends introspective melancholy with blackened density, and their work appeared on the "DSBM Brazil - Vol. I" compilation alongside other depressive voices from the underground.

An unconventional doom trio built around two bass guitars and drums — with no traditional guitar — Mortem Crucis (Rex, Reverend Hell Insane, and Master Blaster) creates a thick, funeral-paced sound centered on death, consciousness, and dystopia. Their debut album "The Coffin Ride" arrived in March 2024 via Gate of Doom Records, following a two-track self-titled EP from 2021.

A one-woman raw black metal project by Null (Iarly Patricio), Mortem Solis deals in occultism and solitude through a deliberately lo-fi, old-school aesthetic that drew notice from the international underground press. The cassette demo "Lamentos do Alvorecer" was released in 2023 through Anti You Rec, Apokalipse Kotidiano, and Fat Zombie.

Formed in Uberlândia by guitarist Gabriel Tino and bassist Macarrão, Morterror plays straightforward death metal rooted in the genre's fundamentals while drawing on a wide range of metal influences. Their 2021 EP Sertão da Maldição is a four-song cycle built around local horror folklore — specifically the curse-laden deaths of a remote interior settlement called Sertão da Farinha Velha — with tracks like "Sangue Podre" and "Boi Fumaça" translating those dark regional legends into crushing riffs.

Mortespermia deal in aggressively lo-fi, necro black metal that draws heavily from the second-wave aesthetic — raw production, occult and left-hand-path lyrical themes, and an uncompromising underground ethos. Their 2016 cassette demo xXx Raw xXx, pressed to 66 copies on Depressive Illusions Records, was followed by the 2019 split O Miasma Misantropo das Covas on Kult of Bloody Rites, placing them firmly within the global raw black metal tape-trading underground.
