Falanstèr is a symphonic metal band from Belo Horizonte, Brazil, featuring vocalist Ligia Ishitani (also of Rosa Ignea), guitarists Bruna Terroni and Renan Fontes, keyboardist Marcos Mello, and drummer Nikolas Thorum. Fallen Idol is a heavy/doom metal trio from Arujá, São Paulo, consisting of Rodrigo Sitta (guitars, vocals), Márcio Silva (bass), and Ulisses Campos (drums). The band has released four full-length albums, including Mourn the Earth (2018) and Weed and Black Candles (2024), the latter self-produced by Sitta with a guest cello appearance by Cielinszka Wielewski. They have also paid tribute to their influences with releases honoring Cirith Ungol (2019) and Black Sabbath (2020).
