Wild Storm is a heavy/power metal band from São Paulo formed by guitarist and main composer Emerson Aquino alongside vocalist Claudio Santana, bassist Diego Cachigian, and drummer Davyd Havier. Drawing heavily from the classic grammar of Judas Priest, Running Wild, and Grave Digger, the band released their debut full-length "The Crimson Dawn" in October 2025 through Storm Atoom Records. The 12-track album covers themes ranging from individual liberty to the brutality of combat, and the band has lined up live shows across Brazil's underground circuit in support.
Wild Witch is a traditional heavy metal band from Curitiba rooted in the raw sound of the 1980s, counting Judas Priest, Saxon, Motörhead, and Iron Maiden among their core influences. The band released their debut album "The Offering" on Arthorium Records in September 2017, with bassist and vocalist Felipe Leite and drummer Weiberlan Garcia anchoring the lineup. Their second full-length, "Reaper's Blade," arrived in 2025 — a record completed across several years after the death of original guitarist Paulo Ryba, with new vocalist Tiago Souza joining to finish the recordings.
Will2Kill was a thrash and groove metal band from Recife whose lineup included vocalist Wilfred Gadêlha, guitarist Hugo Medeiros, bassist Eddie Cheever, and drummer Daniel A. Mello. The band released their debut album "Cause For Alarm" in March 2016, recorded at the Bigorna and Pólvora studios. They operated independently within Recife's underground metal scene before eventually splitting up.
Willian Amorim is a progressive power metal project out of São Luís, Maranhão, led by multi-instrumentalist and drummer Willian Amorim and built around themes of fantasy and epic legend. The project's debut EP, "The Elven Curse," was released in February 2025 and features guest appearances from Sozos Michael of Gloryhammer, Elliot Vernon of Alestorm, and Maria Verhelst of Women In Rock UK, among others. Tracks including "Journey to Iter," "Hellfire," and "Echoes of Destiny" showcase a sound that moves between power and symphonic metal.
Winds of Tragedy is a melodic black/doom metal band from Santiago, Chile, formed in 2021 and signed to Tragedy Productions. The band has been prolific since their debut, releasing two full-lengths and an EP in 2022, followed by "Hating Life" in 2023 and "Death Wash Over Me" in 2024.
Wintercomes is a black metal band from Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, formed in 2010 and active under Tyrfing Records. Their 2013 demo Ångest established their signature sound, built around themes of depression and anti-Christianity. They remain one of the more consistent entries in Rio Grande do Sul's underground black metal scene.
Wintermoon is a black metal band from Salvador, Bahia, whose lineup includes GRYP on guitars, bass, and vocals alongside DAEVHORN, NAFRE, AKER, and SVARTHEIM. The band has released a string of recordings rooted in nature, animism, and ancient beliefs, including the EP Autarky, the Bathory tribute EP Heartfire, and the 2023 album Cold Sky Rising issued on CD digipak by Percussive Spectre. Their sound draws on raw atmospheric black metal while incorporating acoustic textures and orchestrations.
Wiracocha is a pagan black metal band from Ecuador, formed in 2016, whose music draws deeply from indigenous Andean culture and pre-Columbian mythology. Their releases, including the album Antiguas Ceremonias de Guerra en los Andes and a split on Pagan Warriors Records, incorporate Quechua language and Andean spiritual themes into a raw black metal framework.
Wishmaster was a heavy and progressive metal band from Mogi das Cruzes, São Paulo, listed in the Encyclopaedia Metallum with the 2003 demo Egypt among their known recordings. The band operated as an independent unsigned act throughout their existence and has since split up. Their style combined the melodic weight of traditional heavy metal with progressive song structures.
