Hutt is a grindcore and death-thrash trio from São Paulo formed in 2002, comprising Appezzato on vocals, Leandro on guitar, and André on drums, with the band name taken from Jabba the Hutt of Star Wars. The band has built a discography spanning six releases, including the albums Horror³, Monstruario, Apocalipster (2017, via Black Hole Productions), and Maldicto (2019), all featuring short, ferocious songs with Portuguese lyrics addressing social themes. Their sound draws on classic grindcore acts such as Napalm Death alongside death metal influences in the vein of Morbid Angel.
Huvala is a one-person stoner and sludge metal project from Bahia, Brazil, formed in 2017 under the sole hand of the musician known as Putrefactus, who handles all instruments, vocals, and mixing. The debut release Sirens of Souls (September 2017) consists of two lengthy, atmosphere-heavy tracks — "The Oathbreaker" (11 minutes) and "Sepulcher of the Bride" (9 minutes) — drawing from doom, atmospheric black metal, and sludge. The project's name is a stylized play on the geological term uvala, with the added H described by the artist as purely aesthetic.
Hydria was a symphonic metal duo from Rio de Janeiro formed in 2008, centred on vocalist Raquel Schüler and guitarist, composer, and producer Celo Oliveira. Their self-funded debut album Mirror of Tears (2008) earned the band opening slots for Within Temptation and Tarja Turunen on their 2008 Brazilian tours, significantly raising the band's profile. Hydria continued with Poison Paradise, the acoustic collection Acústico — The Acoustic Sessions (2011), and Freakshow (2013) before splitting up that same year.

Hylidae is a death and thrash metal band from Rio Branco, Acre — one of Brazil's most geographically remote metal acts — whose band name is drawn from an indigenous Amazonian ritual associated with hunting and survival. The band released their debut full-length Promiscuous World (2012), recording it in Curitiba due to the lack of suitable studios in Acre, and followed it with the second album Unbreakable Curse (2021), mixed and mastered in Fortaleza. Over their career they have shared stages with Sepultura, Nervochaos, and Demonical.
