Fishead is a progressive metal band from São José dos Campos, Brazil, founded in December 2009 by guitarist Danilo Martins and drummer Rodrigo Kusayama as a university project before expanding into a full band. They released their debut album "Green Hope" in 2012, followed by the second album "In My Hell" in 2018, the latter recorded at Acrobata Studio and featuring a fusion of hard rock and progressive metal with aggressive lyrical themes. Vocalist Jezer Ferris, a musician with over 30 years of experience, joined the lineup in 2015.

Fisura Craneal is a brutal death metal band from Buenos Aires whose lineup includes Pavlo, Mario, Fede, and Visiones. They released their debut "La Logia del Mal" in February 2013, and followed it with "Desobedientes Oms" in March 2015 — a live recording captured at the sixth edition of the Slaughter Metal Fest in Pilar in December 2014.

Flagellum is a melodic death metal band from Salta, Argentina, one of the few extreme metal acts from that northwestern city. The band has been active since 2004 and released the demo "Insomnio" in 2015, self-releasing material independently on Bandcamp under the name flagellumdei.

Flaming Blood is a self-described heavy metal band from Simão Dias, Brazil. The band released their self-titled debut EP "The Fires's Calling" in January 2016, a seven-track digital release featuring songs such as "Battlefield," "Marks of Time," and "The Reaper."

Flashover is a thrash metal band from Brasília, Brazil, formed in the mid-1990s with influences drawn from Kreator, Slayer, and Sepultura. The band released their debut album "Infamous Country" in 2001, followed by "Land of Cannibals" in 2003 on Lethal Records and "Superior" in 2008, establishing themselves as a consistent presence in the Brazilian thrash underground. Their current lineup includes guitarists Fernando Cezar and Itazil Junior alongside drummer Josefer Ayres, who also performs with Phrenesy.

Flesh Architect is a technical brutal death metal project from Bogotá, Colombia, featuring guitarist Jorge Eduardo Canal — known from the band Cóndor — alongside vocalist David Viana. The duo debuted in 2024 with the EP "O, Ritualistique" on Sacrilegio Records, a five-track release recorded at 27A Studios in Bogotá that pairs jagged chromatic riffing with spoken word monologues and surrealist compositional touches.

Fleshpyre is a technical death metal band from Brasília, Brazil, with roots going back to 2014 when guitarist Diego Lima and drummer Daniel Moscardini began composing together in the studio. The band released their debut album "Unburying the Horses of War" in early 2018, an eight-track record praised by Brazilian metal press for its technical complexity and melodic sensibility, featuring cover artwork by artist Zakuro Aoyama. The lineup is completed by vocalist Yuri Sabaoth and bassist Josivan Ribeiro.

Flor de Fumo is a psychedelic stoner doom trio from Londrina, Paraná, Brazil, formed by Gabriel Lemes (guitar/vocals), Rafael Camacho (bass), and Tiago Garcia (drums). The band blends South American psychedelia with the ritualistic density of doom metal, delivering a raw, analog sound they describe as smoke-soaked and ritualistic. They released their self-titled debut EP on December 12, 2025, featuring five tracks including "Doom And High," "Smoke And Sex," and "Erva Blues."

Florbela was an antifascist black metal project from Brasília, Brazil, active in 2022 before splitting up. The project contributed the track "Bastardos" to the 2022 Black Metal Rainbows compilation, a collection of queer, trans, and antifascist underground black metal acts released in November of that year. Their inclusion on that internationally distributed compilation placed them within the global wave of politically engaged extreme metal emerging from Brazil in the early 2020s.
