Futhärk is a folk metal band from Guarapuava, Paraná, formed in June 2013, blending heavy metal with influences drawn from Viking, Celtic, and indigenous South American cultures. The band, whose name derives from the runic alphabet, performed at Guarapuava Rock City 2019 and completed recording of a full-length album in 2021. Their lineup has included guitarist Guilherme Wichinhoski, drummer Felipe Raul Rachelle, and guitarist Pedro Wünsch among its members.
Fuzzter is a stoner metal and rock band from Lima, Peru, formed in 2015 and self-described as "Rock Rápido y Sucio" (Fast and Dirty Rock). The band has released a series of EPs including EP Vol.1 (2015), Postmortem (2021), and Pandemonium (2023), building a catalog of fuzz-driven, riff-heavy material within the Lima heavy music underground.
Fvrest is a black metal band founded in 2022 in Neuquén, Argentina, drawing on second-wave influences from acts like Judas Iscariot and Sargeist. The trio — guitarists Marcos Muñoz and Daiana Ramírez alongside drummer and vocalist Sol Fvrest — released their debut Demo I in 2024 on cassette through Sons of Hell Prod., and performed at the Valle Extremo metal festival in Neuquén in September 2024.
Föxx Salema is a heavy metal project fronted by transgender vocalist Amy Salema from Bragança Paulista, São Paulo, Brazil, active since 2013. The project draws heavily from NWOBHM and classic 1980s power metal, and the debut album "Rebel Hearts" (2020) earned favorable reviews in Brazilian metal media, placing seventh on Roadie Crew Magazine's list of best Brazilian metal albums of that year. Föxx Salema holds the distinction of being the Brazilian transgender metal artist with the most streams on Spotify, and is one of the pioneers of LGBTQ+ representation in the Brazilian heavy metal underground.
Fúria Infernal is a raw black/death metal band from Marília, São Paulo, formed in 2023 and drawing explicit inspiration from Brazilian extremists Sarcófago alongside Blasphemy and Beherit. The band released their debut four-track EP "Às chamas do inferno" in December 2023, with Rafael Cerberus credited on the recording. Their sound channels the lo-fi ferocity of the South American black metal underground.
