Exagorth is a thrash metal band from Morón, in the Buenos Aires metropolitan area, whose lyrics address politics, corruption, and anti-religious themes. The band released the EP Siniestra Oscuridad in 2010, a four-track recording featuring tracks including "Perversos Impunes" and "Predicando La Mentira". They remain an independent act within the active Argentine thrash underground.

Excellence is a melodic heavy metal and hard rock band from Ijuí, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, whose sound blends classic 1980s hard rock with traditional heavy metal. The band released their debut album "Against the Odds" in 2010 and featured keyboardist Fábio Ribeiro, known for his work with Angra and Shaman, while two of their founding members, bassist Robson Van Der Ham and drummer Marcos Rigoli, were among the victims of the tragic Kiss nightclub fire in Santa Maria in January 2013.

Excelsis Tenebrae is a brutal and technical death metal project from Buenos Aires, built around guitarist and vocalist Patricio Posse alongside drummer Santiago Sauza. The band released their debut EP Eternity Denied in October 2017, a three-track recording produced at La Septima Casa studio in Ramos Mejía that draws on influences including Nile, Morbid Angel, and Suffocation. The project grew out of an earlier Miami-based incarnation called Serpenthorn that Posse ran during his high school years before relocating to Argentina.
