Baphometron is a Black Metal band from Manizales, Colombia, founded in 1998 and currently based in Pereira, Risaralda. They operate under Dark Circles Productions and released their debut demo "Baphomilenios" in September 2023, a two-track recording sung in Spanish.

Barbaria are a heavy metal band from Mogi Mirim, a city in the interior of São Paulo state, formed in 2025 and among the newest entries in Brazil's sprawling regional metal underground. With lyrical themes centered on piracy and adventure, the band plays traditional heavy metal and is in the early stages of establishing their presence in the São Paulo interior scene.

Barbarie is a heavy metal band from Berazategui, Buenos Aires, Argentina. The band has released two full-lengths: "Batallas de Liberación" (2013), a nine-track album drawing on Argentine history and featuring guest appearances from notable figures in the local heavy metal scene, and "Hacia un Nuevo Horizonte" (2017).

Barbatos were a brutal death metal band from Jandira, a city in the greater São Paulo metropolitan area, founded by drummer Chicão and guitarist Antônio Agaci with a focus on fast, punishing music in the tradition of Brazilian brutal death. The band released a self-titled CD of eight tracks before going inactive. Their name was drawn from demonic mythology — Barbatos being one of the demons said to serve Satanquia and Lucifer — in keeping with brutal death metal's genre aesthetics.

Barbed Wire were a death/thrash metal band from Brasília, the Brazilian capital, operating in the underground during the mid-2010s before splitting up. Brasília has a smaller but dedicated extreme metal community, and Barbed Wire delivered the raw, aggressive blend of death and thrash that the band's name implies, in the tradition of the brutal early Brazilian extreme metal scene.

Bardasagat is a Patagonian stoner metal band from Neuquén, Argentina, active since 2018 and comprising Mauro and Ariel on guitar and vocals, Franco on bass, and Matías on drums. The band has released the "Samsara/Atreyu" record and captured their live energy on "En vivo '23" (2023), self-describing their sound as "stoner patagónico."

Bardoma is a Buenos Aires heavy metal band built around guitarist Eduardo Tobio and vocalist Sabrina Gorosito, with Facundo Alvarado on drums and Matías Lopresti on bass. The band released a self-titled debut in 2024 and followed it with the more metal-focused "En La Zona Letal" in 2026, presenting the new album live at Club V in March of that year.

Barizon are a stoner/doom metal band from Rio de Janeiro who released their debut full-length "Towards the Rising Sun" in 2014 through Monstro Discos, recorded at Estúdio Superfuzz. Described as eight sludgy stoner doom rippers packed with hallucinogenic heaviness, the album drew comparisons to Down, Red Fang, and Mastodon, placing the band among Rio's more prominent underground stoner acts. The five-piece features Alexandre "Beef" Barbosa on vocals alongside Eduardo Sodré and Gabriel Zander on guitars.

Barks of Apocalypse was an experimental death metal/grindcore one-man project from Catanduva, São Paulo, active 2021–2023. Created by Billy Grind — who also runs the underground label Podreira Records — the project replaced human vocals with the recorded barks of his three dogs, directly inspired by the US band Caninus; the 2021 full-length Canis Lupus Familiaris combined grinding death metal riffwork with this canine-vocal concept.
