Black Grail formed in Santiago in 2005 and play a style they call ultra hardcore black metal, drawing on occult and mystical themes delivered with bestial ferocity. They released their debut "Misticismo Regresivo" in 2015 through Tyrannus Records, followed by "Dinámicas Espirituales" (2021) and the mini-album "VIIII" (2022) on Iron Bonehead Productions, the latter a five-track, 26-minute release praised as one of the standout works from the Chilean black metal underground.

Black Invocation is a black metal band from Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil, with roots going back to a 2003 demo titled "The True Warriors of Black Metal." The band released a compilation, "Profane Rites in Worship to Satan (16 Years of Blasphemy)," collecting material from 2006 to 2013, and their debut full-length album "Chaos - Triumph - A New Beginning" in 2017 through Abrasax Distro & Records. Their sound centers on Satanism, anti-Christianity, and the rawer traditions of Brazilian black metal.

Black Laguna is a Southern/Groove Metal band from São Paulo, Brazil, formed around 2013–2014. Drawing heavily from Pantera, Down, and Black Label Society, the trio brings a Brazilian take on the heavy, riff-driven sound that originated in the American South. Their self-titled debut EP was reviewed by the Brazilian metal press as a promising, well-produced first step in the style often called “metal cerveja.”

Black Mantra is a Stoner/Doom/Gothic Metal band from Vitória da Conquista, Bahia, Brazil. Their sound blends slow, fuzz-heavy doom riffs with a dark gothic atmosphere and deep, Peter Steele-influenced vocals reminiscent of Type O Negative. The band released their debut album in 2016, with a national edition featuring bonus tracks following in 2018; lyrical themes draw on occultism, misanthropy, and horror.

Black Mass was a Black/Thrash Metal band from Belém, Pará, Brazil, formed in 2013. Operating out of northern Brazil’s oldest metal city, the band blended raw black metal aesthetics with thrash metal aggression. They released music independently, including material available through their Bandcamp page, before splitting up.

Black Mausoleum was a black metal project from San Miguel de Tucumán, Argentina, that released a self-titled Demo 2023 on Bandcamp in March of that year. The four-track demo showcased a raw, extreme black metal approach before the band dissolved shortly after its release.

Black Motor Chimps is a Stoner Metal power trio from Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil, formed around 2019–2020. The band—consisting of Plínio Grecco (vocals/bass), Claudio Moreira (guitar), and Alfredo Malagoli (drums)—draws from blues, grunge, and heavy stoner metal. Their self-titled debut EP features four tracks including “Cold Heart Witch” and “Gravity of Tone.”

Black Nóia is a Stoner/Doom Metal band from Assis, São Paulo, Brazil, formed in 2017. The band blends fuzz-soaked, bass-driven stoner rock with heavy psych and elements of Brazilian rhythms such as samba de terreiro, creating a dense and culturally distinct sound. Their single “O Baque,” released after a four-year hiatus, was described by Doomed and Stoned as an intense journey through slow-driven stoner rock and heavy psych.

Black Priest is a Doom Metal band from Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, formed in 2019–2020 by vocalist Vinicius Libânia, bassist Gg Neto, guitarist Raphael Ribeiro, and drummer Phil Drigues. Rooted in the classic heavy sound of Black Sabbath and Judas Priest, the band expanded into original material exploring depression, anxiety, and horror themes. They released the EP “The Soul Scar” and followed it with the full-length album “Fatal” in March 2024, a nine-track record recorded at FK Studio in Niterói.
