Andralls is a São Paulo thrash metal band formed in 1998 (active as a recording act from 2000), whose name references the historic Andraus building fire that killed 16 people in the city in 1972. Known for a self-described "fasthrash" style that pushes the tempo to near-death metal extremes, they have released albums including "Massacre, Corruption, Destruction" (2000), "Inner Trauma" (2005), "Breakneck" (2012), and "Bleeding for Thrash" (2019), the latter receiving a 9/10 from Metal Temple for its ferocious riff work and relentless aggression.

Andre Matos (14 September 1971 – 8 June 2019) was one of Brazil's most celebrated heavy and power metal vocalists, known for his tenor voice spanning roughly 3.5 octaves and his operatic delivery. He rose to international fame as the founding vocalist of Angra — whose debut "Angels Cry" (1993) broke through in Japan and Europe — and later fronted Shaman before dedicating his final years to a solo career that launched in earnest around 2012; following his death from a heart attack in 2019, São Paulo's mayor declared June 8 as the city's Heavy Metal Day in his honor.
