Ages of Blood is an Argentine black metal project formed in 2020 that works with themes of medieval mysticism, anti-Christianity, and occultism. The band released the demo Pagan Medieval Aristocracy in May 2020, followed by the full-length Vestiges of a Fallen Empire in August 2021, and then Chronicles of Abyssic Flames in November 2023. The project was released through His Wounds and is currently on hold.

Aggresion is a death/thrash metal band from Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul, formed in 2012 and operating as a power trio with Eduardo Sparrenberger on vocals and bass, Caverna on guitar, and Felipe TerrorDeath on drums. Their 2024 album Covil de Feras, recorded at Estudio 45 in Campo Grande, leans into Brazilian folklore and indigenous resistance as lyrical themes, pairing them with a raw, satanic extreme metal aesthetic. The band contributed to underground anti-fascist metal compilations in 2018 and 2019.

Aggression Tales are a thrash metal band from São Paulo founded in 2006 by guitarist Felipe Ruiz alongside vocalist/bassist Bruno Pompeo and drummer Julio Príncipe. Their 2007 debut Scribbles in Blood is a concept album narrating the life of a fictional serial killer, with each of its twelve tracks written in collaboration with ten different fiction authors who each penned a chapter of the story. They followed it with Random Acts of Physical Disgust (2011) on Six Inch Nails Records, cementing a sharp, aggressive thrash attack with a dark literary bent.

Aggressors are a death/thrash metal band from Botucatu, São Paulo state, formed in 2014 around members who previously played together in a different project. Their debut EP The First Evil, released through Odioground Records in September 2016, delivers four tracks of grinding riff-driven thrash with death metal brutality and lyrical themes focused on war, religion, and political critique.

Agnata Fides are an atmospheric black metal and dark ambient band from Patos de Minas, Minas Gerais, formed in April 2014 by a four-piece lineup including NaWotam on bass and vocals and DDøS on guitars and keyboards. Their self-titled debut album, released in November 2014 on Depressive Illusions Records and recorded at Aethyr Home Studio in Patos de Minas, blends raw black metal aggression with keyboard-driven ambience around themes of Luciferianism and Hyperborean mysticism.

Agnideva are a black metal band from Campina Grande, Paraíba, formed in 2009 and operating independently in Brazil's northeastern underground scene. Their lyrical focus is rooted in Vedic paganism and anti-Christian occultism, making them a rare voice in Brazilian black metal drawing on Hindu spiritual imagery rather than the genre's more typical Satanic or Norse frameworks.

Agnozia are a death metal power trio from Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, assembled during the pandemic and dedicated to old-school death metal in the tradition of the early 1990s. Their debut album Ultra-Violence, released in May 2023 on Black Hearts Records, delivers eight tracks of churning riffs and brutal drumming with song titles like Innate Antropophagy and Moritvri Mortvis signaling an unapologetically visceral approach.

Agnus Die are a thrash metal band from Vinhedo, São Paulo state, formed in 2015 and active in the Brazilian underground thrash circuit. Based in the interior of São Paulo state, they play traditional thrash metal and remain an independent, grassroots act with limited wider documentation outside the Metal Archives registry.
