Corpus Christi is a death metal and grindcore trio from Buenos Aires, Argentina, formed in 2024 by Pely on guitars and vocals, Marta on drums, and Bruno on bass and vocals. The band moved quickly, releasing their Demo 2024 in April 2024 and following it with the Altares de Satanás EP in July 2024, both recorded at Tribal Records in Buenos Aires and released through Demonical Devastation Records.

Beginning with a hardcore and early death metal approach, the band shifted toward thrash and death metal over time, releasing a self-titled album in 2007 featuring fourteen tracks. They remain active as an independent act in the Porto Velho metal scene.

COVID-19 is a one-person death metal and goregrind project from Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil, formed in 2020 by the musician Érdos at the outset of the global pandemic. The project uses the pandemic as both name and lyrical subject, channeling the horror of the coronavirus era into brutal extreme metal. Their EP "When the Traditional Margarine Commercial Family Dies" was released digitally through Póstumo Sölstício Records.
