Waking for Darkness is a black/death metal band from Curitiba, Brazil, formed in 2022. The band has released two albums, The Dynasty of Time and Solus, drawing on the atmospheres of second and third wave black metal fused with the aggression of 1990s death metal.

Warfare Noise Project is a Brazilian thrash/death metal act from Paraná formed in 2021 by members going by the handles M. Prophanator and J.S. Dissector, conceived as a tribute to the underground extreme metal of the 1980s. The project released two albums in quick succession: 80's Paraná Metal Years (2021), celebrating the classic heavy metal of their home state, and A Brazilian Extreme Metal Tribute (2022), paying homage to the pioneering extreme metal bands of Brazil.

Warfield Death is a death metal band from Aracaju, Sergipe, Brazil, that released their debut album Death in 2009, a nine-track record distributed in a limited run of 1,000 hand-numbered copies on Sade Records. The band was initially built around founding member Polo Flores (known as Hellfire), who handled music, concept, and artwork, with drummer Infernal joining to complete the recording lineup.

Warshipper is a death metal band from Sorocaba, São Paulo, formed by experienced musicians including guitarist and vocalist Renan Roveran (ex-Bywar) and bassist Rodolfo Nekathor (ex-Zoltar). The band released their debut full-length "Black Sun" in 2018 through More Hate Productions and Narcoleptica Productions, followed by the album "Barren..." in 2020. Their music blends technical death metal with progressive elements and themes of atheism, and they completed touring in Europe alongside their domestic Brazilian shows.

Without Solace is a Black/Death Metal band from Valparaíso, Chile, formed in 2026. The band explores themes of death, war, Satanism, and anti-Christianity, and released their debut EP, Apoteosis Adversaria, along with several singles in their formation year.

World in Flames was a short-lived black/death metal project from Blumenau, Santa Catarina, formed in 2021 and active only briefly before splitting up. The band recorded original material including the track "Europa In Flames," available on their Bandcamp page, channeling the raw South American extreme metal underground tradition.

Worm Tomb is a death metal band from Formosa, Goiás, formed in 2025 by members Hans Donner (guitar/vocals), Weder Ferreira (bass/backing vocals), and Victor Reis (drums). The trio released their debut album "Terrifying Dimensions of Brutality" on April 27, 2025, playing a deliberately rotten and primitive style rooted in the death metal of the 1980s and 1990s.
