Nervosa is an all-female thrash metal band founded in São Paulo, Brazil in 2010 by guitarist Prika Amaral and drummer Fernanda Terra, with Fernanda Lira joining shortly thereafter on bass and vocals. Their debut Victim of Yourself (2013) announced a relentless, Teutonic-influenced thrash attack, and the band sustained momentum through Agony (2016) and Downfall of Mankind (2018) despite numerous lineup changes. Amaral has helmed the project through multiple roster shifts, continuing into the Napalm Records era with Perpetual Chaos (2021) and Jailbreak (2023).
Neural Abyss play old-school death metal rooted in misanthropy and nihilism, with a sound that draws on the early Brazilian death metal tradition. The Campina Grande three-piece — Vitor Giovanni on bass and vocals, Luênya Van Ripper on guitar, and Relrys Silva on drums — released their debut full-length Everything Is Over in late 2025 via My Dark Desires Records.
Neural Death is a young death metal outfit from Franca whose 2024 demo Guerras announced their arrival with three tracks of blunt, unpolished brutality. The trio — Aladdin on guitars, Iury on drums, and Sarthory handling bass and vocals — recorded the demo at Sala 7 studio and released it in early 2024.
Nightmare Slaughter deliver old-school death metal with a deeply occult bent, drawing on Thelema, Kabbalah, and Mesopotamian mythology across their lyrics. Their 2017 EP "The Quintessence of the Incomprehensible" introduced the project, and the 2021 full-length "Worm Kabbalah" solidified their sound — dense, deliberate, and reminiscent of early Vader and Gorguts.
Nigrae Lunam is a doom/death duo composed of vocalist Paulo Brasil and multi-instrumentalist Kastiphas, whose music explores occult feminine mythology — particularly the figure of Lilith — through slow, suffocating riffs and bleak atmospherics. Their 2020 debut album "Lilith Regnator Est" was recognized by metal press as one of the standout Brazilian extreme metal releases of that year.
Nigromancia is a death/thrash metal band from Paine, south of Santiago, formed in 2019 by members performing under names including Black Caracalla, Yllaw Vomit, Rotten Serpent, and Dismember. Drawing from occultism and old-school death metal traditions, the band released the EP Hidden Rituals through Burning Coffin Records in 2021, followed by the full-length Vortex of Existence in 2023, both rooted in a sound likened to Pestilence, Entombed, and Excoriate.
Lignum Mortis is a one-man black and doom metal project from Valdivia, in southern Chile, that merges sounds drawn from death metal, black metal, and dark ambient to create densely layered sonic landscapes. The project's self-titled debut was released in 2015 as a limited CD-R run of 30 copies before being made available digitally, followed by Vacuum Inferno in 2022 and Lignum Mortis II in December 2025. All music, recording, mixing, mastering, and artwork are handled entirely by the sole member.
Nigurah blend the groove-heavy stomp of mid-era Sepultura with thrash and death metal aggression, arriving from the same Rio Grande do Sul scene that has long punched above its weight in Brazilian extreme metal. The quartet — Rafael Prado on vocals, Fernando Cezar Jr on guitar, Felipe Ribeiro on bass, and Luke Santos on drums — released their debut EP "Incendiar" in October 2020.
Nihilifer is a death/black metal band from Temuco, Araucanía, that emerged in 2013 from earlier projects Sarcoma Corpus and Ritualism, signing to Throats Productions. The band released the demo Chaos Ex Nihilo in November 2013 and the full-length Subterfacto.declive in 2018, a dense 54-minute album exploring themes of occultism, anti-creationism, and spirituality across eight tracks.
