One of Espírito Santo's earliest extreme metal exports, Porrada!!! formed in 1991 and quickly carved through death/black metal into grindcore territory, releasing three records in rapid succession: The Avalanche (1992), The Society's Open Hurts (1993), and Long Live Grindcore!!! (1994). Their lyrics tackled death, politics, and social decay, and the increasing grindcore aggression across those three releases marked them as genuine pioneers of the Brazilian extreme underground.

Profane Anger is a death/black metal trio featuring Rômulo Nekro Daemon on vocals and bass, Paulo Death on guitars, and Reverend Ivan Sabbath on drums, recording out of Natal's Abyss Occults and Black Hole studios. Their 2015 EP "Fall of the Liar" introduced their corrosive approach, followed by the split "Pact with the Devil" in 2019.

Psycophobia is an independent death/black metal band from Novo Hamburgo, Rio Grande do Sul, with releases documented on Metal Archives including "Reality of a Psychotic Underworld" and "Devilish Kiss of Death." The band also appeared on the compilation "Satan Smashes Fascism" (2018) with the track "March of Destruction" and on "The Sound of Satanic Hellbangers Vol. II" (Satanic Hellbangers Records, November 2022) with "Welcome Infernal Land."

Quemarlo Todo is a death/thrash/hardcore band from Bucaramanga, Santander, Colombia, formed in 2022. They released the Incendia EP in 2023 and the live album I Am Hell in 2025, both self-released as an independent act. The project was founded by guitarist David Rodríguez, drawing together members from other Colombian acts including UltraDeath, Fierro, and Burden of Hate.

Raiken is a melodic death and thrash metal band from Brasília active since at least 2019, with a lineup of Ricardo Leite on bass and vocals, Cristiano Marques and Leonardo Pacheco on guitars, and Daniel Neves on drums. Their five-track EP Shattered Shield, released on March 20, 2026, moves across melodic death metal, thrash, and epic heavy metal and was independently produced by the band.

Crossover/thrash band from Campos dos Goytacazes, Rio de Janeiro state, formed in 2010 by vocalist George Campos, guitarist Giovane Henriques, bassist Matheus Fernandes, and drummer Argron César. The band released the demo Massacre Urbano in 2010 and their debut full-length Pesadelo Brasileiro in August 2017, recorded between October and December 2015 at Studio Hammer in Campos dos Goytacazes.

Death/doom metal band from João Pessoa, Paraíba, formed around 2010, whose lyrics draw on Buddhist philosophy, Hindu mythology, and themes of psychological despair. The band released the EP As Beauty Springs From Mud… in 2010, combining mid-paced death metal with doom and melodic death elements alongside dreamlike instrumental passages. They later relocated to Oldenburg, Germany, where they continued as an active act.

Death/thrash metal band from Joinville, Santa Catarina, founded by guitarist Edson Souza and bassist Andrei Ruan de Souza, with drummer Claudio Wurfel completing the lineup in 2015. The band released Stream of Excrements in October 2016 and NECROPOLIS in October 2020, drawing from the classic death and thrash metal of the 1980s and 1990s.

Death/thrash metal band from Belém, Pará, active from 1993, with a lineup that included vocalist Everaldo Nascimento, guitarists Luciano Arakaty and Espeto Alfaia, and bassist Marcão Karas. Their album Ancient Glorious Death compiles studio recordings from 1993 and 1994 made at Estúdio Edgar Proença (FUNTELPA) in Belém, along with live material from 2001.
