Necroblade was a one-man Death/Thrash Metal project from Bucaramanga, Santander, Colombia, active from 2012 until its dissolution in 2020. The project released a series of demos between 2017 and 2018 before its output was absorbed into Kathreptis, a collaborative band formed by the same musician alongside two additional members.

Necrolatria deal in the slow, suffocating territory where death metal meets doom, wringing funeral weight out of every riff. Their 2020 full-length Ultimate Prevail of Darkness stands as their most substantial statement, a sprawling effort built around crushing tempos and morbid atmosphere.

Originally formed in 1986, Necromancer finally released their debut full-length Forbidden Art in 2014 after reconnecting in 2012, a record recorded at Hanoi Studio in Rio de Janeiro and praised for channeling the old-school thrash aggression of Sodom, Destruction, and early Sepultura. Since returning to activity, they have been prolific on Bandcamp, issuing a string of EPs in 2017 including Book of the Dead and vi that continue refining their death-tinged thrash attack.

Necromanicider were a death/doom metal band from Rio de Janeiro active across the 1990s and 2000s under various names, including an early incarnation as Geração Eleita before settling on the Necromanicider moniker. Unusual for the genre, they grounded their dark, plodding sound in Christian themes, positioning themselves as a counter-voice to the Satanic orthodoxy that dominated Brazilian extreme metal at the time.

Necromatório rose directly from the ashes of Sanatório, with the same four members — Pablo on vocals, Lucas on guitar, Andrei on bass, and Marcus on drums — carrying the torch into harder territory when the previous project dissolved in 2017. Their 2018 debut, Vida Longa Aos Incrédulos, balances the boundary between thrash and death metal with five tracks of Portuguese-language lyrics attacking social and religious dogmas.

Necropyre is a Death/Black Metal band from Ecuador, active since 2021. Their self-titled "Demo I," released in July 2021, features four tracks of raw extreme metal written and performed entirely by the band, with all music and lyrics credited to Necropyre. The demo was self-released independently on Bandcamp under the straightforward descriptor "Metal from Ecuador."

Negativus blends old-school death metal with groove-laden heaviness, drawing on the sounds of Obituary, Entombed, and Celtic Frost while writing all their lyrics in Portuguese. Their 2024 debut "Detestabilis" features vocalist Eduardo Jarry alongside guitarist Thyago Trajano, bassist/guitarist Victor Hugo Targino, and drummer Eduardo Amorim, delivering ten tracks of punishing, mid-paced brutality.

A solo death/black metal project launched in 2023 by veteran musician Fábio Nosferatus Lima, who has been active in the Brazilian underground since 1994. Drawing on horror-film obsessions, his releases — including Chainsaw Massacre, Deus-Verme, The Exorcist, and Conjured — explore a grimy intersection of death metal brutality and black metal atmosphere rooted in exploitation-cinema imagery.

Nuclear Screams traffic in a dense blend of death, thrash, speed, and melodic death metal that leans heavily on aggression without abandoning hooks. Their debut EP A Path to Endless Days arrived in November 2021, and the full-length Human Frailties followed in 2025, both recorded in Minas Gerais and showcasing a band comfortable moving between brutal riffing and more atmospheric passages.
