Carnified is a death/black metal band from Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, originally formed in 1994 and revived around 2020–2021. The band builds its conceptual lyrics around a fictional world called Askardem, inhabited by gods who covet the human form. Their return yielded the single "Nocturna" featuring Sarah Jezebel Deva (Cradle of Filth, Therion) and the 2022 EP "Carnage for the Gods."

Carpatus is a black metal duo from Santo André, São Paulo, Brazil, with roots going back to 1999 and currently active in their second period. The band is signed to Black Lion Records, which released a full-length in 2017, and the duo also appeared on the Black Lion compilation "Afterlife in Darkness Part I" in 2019. Their lyrical themes center on desolation and existential pain.

Castración is a solo project by Santiago-based artist Lucero Guerra, active from 2018, blending raw black metal, harsh noise, and power electronics under the conceptual framework of the body as an instrument of war. The project released Terrorismo Corporal (2018) and Regímenes Carnales (2019), the latter issued as a limited handmade cassette through Octavo Canto, with themes drawn from biopolitics, queerness, and state violence.

Castrivenian is a Brazilian raw black metal project formed in 2024, drawing clear inspiration from the European second-wave scene of the mid-to-late 1990s, particularly early Satanic Warmaster, early Marduk, and Moonblood. In their first year the project released two demos — S.H.T.I. (April 2024) and Eternal Fog's Rebirth (2024, with a cassette release through Wolfkult Religion) — plus a split, demonstrating rapid and prolific output rooted in a harsh, orthodox black metal aesthetic.

Catacumba is a black metal band from Serra, Espírito Santo, Brazil, formed in December 2003. Their sound blends the primal aggression of South American black metal with the frostbitten atmosphere of the Scandinavian scene, with lyrical themes spanning philosophy, nihilism, and hatred. Their debut full-length album Kratos was originally released in 2010 through Onslaught Records and reissued on CD in 2014 by Fallen-Angels Productions with a live bonus track.

Catharsis Nocturna is a black metal band from Córdoba, Argentina, founded in 2006 by Darker Mysteria on vocals and keyboards, Austhrum Dominius on guitars and programming, and Svart Sjel on bass. The band released their first demo, Genesis Dramatica de lo Difunto, in August 2006, followed by a second demo in 2009, both steeped in themes of darkness, occultism, and nocturnal mysticism. Darker Mysteria and Austhrum Dominius have remained central to the Argentine underground black metal scene, also contributing to collaborations with other regional acts.

Caverna is a black metal band from Patos, Paraíba, Brazil, formed in 2019. The band operates in the raw, underground tradition of Brazilian black metal and is listed on the Encyclopaedia Metallum. Patos is a small city in the northeast of Brazil with a sparse metal scene, making Caverna one of its rare representatives of the genre.

Cenotafio is a black/death metal duo from Temuco, formed in 2015 by guitarist/vocalist Daniel Hermosilla and drummer/vocalist Patricio Kusnir, both veterans of the southern Chilean underground through prior projects Odrum and Invehertex. Their debut demo "El Encierro de las Grandes Revelaciones" (2015) established a cavernous, slow-burning sound that carried through their debut full-length "La Fatídica Excrecencia de la Subtierra" (Memento Mori, 2017), the sophomore "Larvae Tedeum Teratos" (Blood Harvest, 2019), and the 2026 third album released on vinyl through Demoniac Productions.

Chaotic Desolation is a one-man melodic death/thrash/black metal project from Osasco, São Paulo, Brazil, founded by multi-instrumentalist Thiago Alboneti, who is also known for his work in Beyond Chaos and Infinity of Thoughts. The project released its debut album Biological Sonnet in March 2024, drawing influences from Machine Head, Iced Earth, Nevermore, and Lamb of God.
